East Forsyth High School (North Carolina)
East Forsyth High School is located in the town of Kernersville in Forsyth County, North Carolina. It is laid out in a college-campus style with numerous small buildings rather than a single large building. Facilities East Forsyth currently has a total of nine main classroom buildings; four buildings house eight classrooms, two others house ten classrooms, and one houses up to sixteen. Two "pod" trailers are housed in the back of the campus. There are also two gyms, an auditorium, cafeteria, courtyard, technology building, and an office building with a library. Recently completed renovations on campus have ultimately changed the entire school. A two-story, "L" shaped building has been built; it houses 16 classrooms, office facilities, as well as a new media center. Scholastic wrestling, also known in the United States as folkstyle wrestling, is a style of amateur wrestling practiced at the high school and middle school levels in the United States. This wrestling style is essentially collegiate wrestling with some slight rule modifications. According to an athletics participation survey taken by the National Federation of State High School Associations, boys' wrestling ranked eighth in terms of the number of schools sponsoring teams, with 9,445 schools participating in the 2006–07 school year. Also, 257,246 boys participated in the sport during that school year, making scholastic wrestling the sixth most popular sport among high school boys. Ryan Christopher Dull (born October 2, 1989) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the High Point Rockers of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball. Turner Battle (born January 11, 1983) is an American former basketball point guard for the University at Buffalo Bulls men's basketball team from 2001 to 2005. Battle is credited with fueling the resurgence of the Bulls men's basketball program, which went from 5–23 during his sophomore season to a 23-win senior campaign.
