East End Lions F.C.
East End Lions is a Sierra Leonean professional soccer, football club based in the capital Freetown. They play in the Sierra Leone National Premier League, the top football league in Sierra Leone. East End Lions represents the East End of Freetown, and play their home games at the National Stadium. The head coach, appointed in 2018 is John Keister. East End Lions are one of the two biggest and most successful football clubs in Sierra Leonean football history (along with their main rivalry Mighty Blackpool). The club was founded in 1928 and is one of the oldest football clubs in Sierra Leone. The Siaka Stevens National Stadium, commonly known informally as the National Stadium, is the national stadium of Sierra Leone, located in the capital city of Freetown. Ibrahim Obreh Kargbo (born 10 April 1982) is a Sierra Leonean former soccer, football player. He ended his career with a suspension over match-fixing. Career Former teams are Old Edwardians F.C., Feyenoord Rotterdam, RWD Molenbeek, Sporting Charleroi, Malatyaspor, FC Brussels and Willem II. During his time at Willem II he was a key player. He played more than 100 matches for the Dutch side and then moved to FC Baku when his contract had expired.
