Earnie Killum
Earnest Killum (June 11, 1948 – June 11, 2020) was an American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). After starring for Stetson from 1968 to 1970, averaging a school-record 24.9 points over two seasons and earning All-America honors, he was selected by the Lakers with the thirteenth pick (30th overall) in the second round of the 1970 NBA Draft The 1970 NBA draft was the 24th annual draft of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Clarksdale is a city in and the county seat of Coahoma County, Mississippi, United States. It is located along the Sunflower River. Clarksdale is named after John Clark, a settler who founded the city in the mid-19th century when he established a timber mill and business. College career Born in Ocala, Florida, he attended Polk Community College and Stetson University, both in Florida, and was known for his shot-blocking ability. Professional career In the NBA, Williams, a 6'9" center, played with the Charlotte Hornets (1992, 1994), Orlando Magic (1992), Boston Celtics (1993), Dallas Mavericks (1994–96) and the Washington Bullets/Wizards (1996–2000).
