''The Early Bird'' is a 1925 American silent comedy film directed by Charles Hines and starring Johnny Hines, Sigrid Holmquist, and Wyndham Standing. Plot As described in a review in a film magazine, Jimmy Burke (Hines), independent milk man, changes clothes with a wealthy young chap who wants to put pep into a party, and, at the same time, party hostess Jean Blair (Holmquist) dresses as a maid. Jimmy takes a shine to her and invites her to a ride in his wagon and she accepts. George Fairchild (Standing), manager of the milk trust of which Jean is president, is pulling crooked business, and Jimmy gets on to him. ''ALT'' is the twelfth studio album by English progressive rock band Van der Graaf Generator. It was released 25 June 2012. There are only instrumental songs on the album. The opening track "Earlybird" has inspired the Earlybird Project (2014-2015), a non-profit environmental art project, an appeal for the preservation of the world. Lark (person)
A lark, early bird, morning person, or (in Scandinavian countries) an A-person, is a person who usually gets up early in the morning and goes to bed early in the evening. The term relates to the birds known as larks, which are known to sing before dawn. Human "larks" may sleep from around 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. (or earlier), and tend to feel most energetic just after they get up in the morning. They are thus well-suited for working the day shift. McDonaldland is a McDonald's media franchise and the fictional fantasy world inhabited by Ronald McDonald and his friends. The PATrain, also known as Mon Valley Commuter Rail, was a commuter rail service owned by the Port Authority of Allegheny County in the Monongahela Valley in the US state of Pennsylvania. Intelsat I (nicknamed Early Bird for the proverb "The early bird catches the worm") was the first commercial communications satellite to be placed in geosynchronous orbit, on April 6, 1965. It was built by the Space and Communications Group of Hughes Aircraft Company (later Hughes Space and Communications Company, and now Boeing Satellite Systems) for COMSAT, which activated it on June 28, 1965. It was based on the Syncom series of satellites that Hughes had previously built for NASA to demonstrate that communications via synchronous-orbit satellite were feasible. Its booster was a Thrust Augmented Delta (Delta D). After a series of maneuvers, it reached its geosynchronous orbital position over the Atlantic Ocean at 28° West longitude, where it was put into service.
