Eldora Speedway (nicknamed "The Big E", "Auto Racing's Showcase Since 1954," and "The World's Greatest Dirt Track") is a high-banked clay dirt oval. Located north of Rossburg, Ohio in the village of New Weston, Ohio, it features permanent and festival-style seating believed to be in the range of 30,000. Eldora Dirt Derby
The Eldora Dirt Derby was a annual race in the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series race held at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio. During its existence from 2013 to 2019, the race was the only dirt track racing event on any NASCAR national touring series (NASCAR Cup Series, Cup, NASCAR Xfinity Series, Xfinity, or Truck) schedule and the first since 1970. Due to coronavirus concerns in 2020, the race was not run and is not scheduled to be run again in the Truck Series. The standalone dirt event was later moved to Knoxville Raceway for 2021. __NOTOC__ Mark Kinser (born May 5, 1964) is a retired American sprint car racing driver. He hails from Oolitic, Indiana. Cousin to Steve Kinser, Mark won the 1996 and 1999 World of Outlaws championship and was runner-up in 1991, 1998, and 2001. Mark is the 1996, 1999, and 2000 Knoxville Nationals champion as well as the 2001 King's Royal winner. In 2006, one of the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series’ most successful drivers suddenly retired. Steve "The King" Kinser (born June 2, 1954) is a former professional sprint car racing driver. He has won 20 championships in the World of Outlaws (WoO) series. Jac Haudenschild (born April 7, 1958) is an American racing driver. Nicknamed "The Wild Child" for his daring driving style, he is most famous for driving winged sprint cars with the World of Outlaws. Early life Jac was born in Wooster, Ohio in 1958. He grew up watching his father John (and later his brother Ed) race modifieds and sprint cars. The NASCAR Cup Series is the top racing series of the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR).
