Max Cunningham is a fictional character from the British Channel 4 soap opera ''Hollyoaks'', played by Ben Sherrif from 1995 to 1997, and Matt Littler from 1997 to 2008. He first appeared on 6 November 1995, and Littler took over the role in September 1997. In 2008, Max was the second longest running character in ''Hollyoaks'', after Tony Hutchinson (Nick Pickard). Brendan Brady is a Character (arts), fictional character from the Television in the United Kingdom, British Channel 4 soap opera ''Hollyoaks'', played by Emmett J. Scanlan. The character was introduced on 5 August 2010 by series producer Paul Marquess during part of the show's overhaul, and became one of ''Hollyoaks'' most popular characters. Doug Carter is a fictional character from the British soap opera ''Hollyoaks'', played by PJ Brennan. Brennan initially appeared as Doug in the programme's online spin-off series '' Hollyoaks: Freshers'', before his debut in the main show on 13 September 2010. Ashley Slanina-Davies (born 18 December 1989) is an English actress born in Standish, near Wigan, who is notable for playing the role of Amy Barnes in the Channel 4 soap opera, ''Hollyoaks''. Kieron Mark Richardson (born 12 January 1986) is an English actor and television presenter. He plays the role of Ste Hay in ''Hollyoaks'', having previously appeared in '' Heartbeat'' as Ricky Smith. Smithwick worked at the BBC for six years where she was involved with several shows for the teen brand BBC Switch and moved on to write for its in-house teen soap The Cut.
