Eagledale is the name of a neighborhood on the west side of Indianapolis, Indiana. Eagledale is primarily suburban in nature, consisting of ranch homes built in the 1950s and 1960s by National Homes, which was based out of Lafayette, Indiana. Ranch (also known as American ranch, California ranch, rambler, or rancher) is a domestic architectural style that originated in the United States. Unigov
Unigov is the colloquial name adopted by the city of Indianapolis, Indiana, to describe its consolidated city–county government. By an act of the Indiana General Assembly, Indianapolis consolidated with the government of Marion County in 1970. Within Unigov are eleven "included towns". Under Indiana Code 36-3-1-4 sec. 4(a)(2)), included towns retain their identity as towns under Indiana law and have some limited autonomy. However, they are legally part of the Consolidated City of Indianapolis and are fully subject to the laws and control of the government of Indianapolis. Northwest High School (Indiana)
Northwest High School, located at 5525 W. 34th St. Indianapolis, Indiana, was a traditional high school operated by the publicly funded Indianapolis Public Schools organization. It closed in 2018. About The school, built in 1962-1963, adopted a unique school mascot called the "Space Pioneer," a reference to the United States' early man-in-space program underway during the school's founding. This reference to the space program can also be found in the school paper, Telstar, and the yearbook, the Vanguard. The first classes entered Northwest High School in Indianapolis in September 1963. The Brickyard 400 was an annual NASCAR Cup Series points race held at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Speedway, Indiana. The inaugural race was held in 1994 and was the first race other than the Indianapolis 500 to be held at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway since 1916.
