"E Pluribus Wiggum" is the tenth episode of the nineteenth season of the American animated television series ''The Simpsons''. It first aired on the Fox network in the United States on January 6, 2008. It was written by Michael Price and directed by Mike Frank Polcino, and it guest starred Jon Stewart and Dan Rather as themselves. This episode became controversial in Argentina for a joke made about the government of Juan Perón. Mike Frank Polcino was nominated for Writers Guild of America Award in the animation category for directing the episode. Michael Price (born October 22, 1958) is an American writer and producer, best known for his Emmy and Writers Guild award-winning work on ''The Simpsons''. Price is a writer and co- executive producer of the ABC series ''Teacher's Pet''. He served as a script consultant on ''The Simpsons Movie'' and wrote the Lego Star Wars special, '' ''Lego Star Wars: The Padawan Menace''''. He works at Lucasfilm writing and producing Lego Star Wars Franchise. Other television shows he has written for include ''What About Joan?'', ''The PJs'', '' Teen Angel'', '' Homeboys in Outer Space'', '' The Newz'' and '' One Minute to Air''. Dieting is the practice of eating food in a regulated way to decrease, maintain, or increase body weight, or to prevent and treat diseases such as diabetes and obesity.
