Future And Freedom
Future and Freedom ( it, Futuro e Libertà), whose full name was Future and Freedom for Italy (''Futuro e Libertà per l'Italia'', abbreviated to FLI), was a political party in Italy, comprising both liberal and national conservative elements. FLI was formed by followers of Gianfranco Fini in July 2010 as a split from The People of Freedom (PdL), the major Italian centre-right party of the time, led by Silvio Berlusconi. Fini, former leader of the Italian Social Movement (MSI) and National Alliance (AN) and co-founder of the PdL in 2009, had taken a long journey from post-fascism to become a liberal conservative. Soon after the PdL's foundation, he started to become a critic of Berlusconi's government and leadership style. The core of FLI was constituted by Generation Italy (GI), led by Italo Bocchino, who was also appointed vice president of the party by Fini. FLI members were mostly former MSI/AN stalwarts, with some notable exceptions. History Background Somewhat surpris ...

FLIC (file Format)
The FLIC file formats most known in the extension .FLI and .FLC, used to store animation files. It is similar to animated GIF. The FLIC animation format was originally developed by Autodesk for use with Autodesk Animator (FLI) and Autodesk Animator Pro (FLC). In 1993 Jim Kent had a Dr. Dobbs article with a source code listing, introducing the FLIC format to the public. The format uses pixel-wise differential encoding between frames (like GIF) to reduce file size. In the 1990s video game developers used the format for intros and other animated sequences in their games, for instance UFO: Enemy Unknown (1994) by MicroProse. Autodesk released a Freeware software called ''AAPlay'' to play FLI/FLC files on the PC. After the end of development and support by Autodesk, the community wrote substitutes themselves, for instance free and open source Free and open-source software (FOSS) is a term used to refer to groups of software consisting of both free software and open-source ...

Vlie
The Vlie or Vliestroom is the seaway between the Dutch islands of Vlieland, to its southwest, and Terschelling, to its northeast. The Vlie was the estuary of the river IJssel in medieval times. In 1666 the English Admiral Robert Holmes burnt a Dutch merchant fleet of 130 ships (Holmes's Bonfire), that had taken refuge in the Vlie, mistakenly supposing the English could never find their way through the treacherous shoals along its coastline. Today it's still possible to reach the port of Harlingen by way of the Vlie. It is often supposed that the old Roman name for the lake that later would become the Zuiderzee: ''Lacus Flevo'', is etymologically related to the name "Vlie" and that perhaps Vlie was once the name of the entire lake and the big river that flowed out of it. In the 13th century large floods widened the estuary and destroyed much of the peat land behind, creating a continuous area of sand and mudflats connecting the sea to the enlarged inland lake and obscuring the ...

Flia
Flia, also known as fli or flija, is a dish in Kosovan cuisine and Albanian cuisine. It consists of multiple crêpe-like layers brushed with cream and served with sour cream and butter. The name translates to "sacrifice" (see '' fli''). March 17 is recognized as "Flia Day" in which families invite their relatives for preparing and eating flia. Flija requires very simple ingredients: flour, water, butter, yogurt, eggs, oil, nuts and salt. The main ingredients (flour, water and salt) are mixed together until they become like pancake batter. Layers of batter are baked using a '' saq'' which is a spherical metal lid used for baking.
