EVO Gymnastics
EVO Gymnastics, also known as EVO Athletics, is a multi-sport club known for its men's gymnastics program located in Sarasota, Florida. History EVO Gymnastics is co-owned by Kyle Lawton and Lydia Lawton. In 2016, EVO undertook a series of moves to expand. In June, EVO moved into a new facility in Sarasota, Florida. In August, it was announced that Aimee Boorman, the personal coach of Simone Biles, was hired to the staff. It then acquired Suncoast Volleyball Club to bring under the EVO brand in September. With USA Gymnastics' decision to terminate its usage of Karolyi Ranch in January 2018, EVO served as one of two temporary training sites for the United States women's national artistic gymnastics team until November 2019. Sarasota, Florida
Sarasota () is a city in Sarasota County on the Gulf Coast of the U.S. state of Florida. The area is renowned for its cultural and environmental amenities, beaches, resorts, and the Sarasota School of Architecture. Sam Mikulak
Samuel Anthony Mikulak (born October 13, 1992) is a retired American artistic gymnast. He is a six-time U.S. national all-around champion (2013–2016, 2018–2019), the 2018 World bronze medalist on high bar, and a three-time Olympian (2012, 2016, and 2020). He is also an eight-time NCAA champion, winning the team, individual all-around and several individual event titles at the 2011, 2013 and 2014 NCAA Men's Gymnastics championships. Early years Mikulak was born in Huntington Beach, California, and attended Corona del Mar High School. He is of Polish descent. His parents both competed in gymnastics at the University of California, Berkeley, and started Sam in gymnastics at age two. Gymnastics is a type of sport that includes physical exercises requiring balance, strength, flexibility, agility, coordination, dedication and endurance. Shane Michael Wiskus (born October 1, 1998) is an American artistic gymnast who represented the United States at the 2020 Summer Olympics. Additionally, he represented the United States at the 2019 World Championships and is a three-time NCAA Champion. Personal life Wiskus was born in Waconia, Minnesota, on October 1, 1998, to Tammy and Mike Wiskus. His sister, Annabelle, has performed with the Minnesota Association of Dance Teams. In 2002, Wiskus's mother signed him up for gymnastics classes to develop his coordination and motor skills. He began competing three years later at age seven. Curran Michael Phillips (born July 8, 2000) is an American artistic gymnast. He is a member of the United States men's national artistic gymnastics team and is the 2023 Pan American champion on horizontal bar. He previously competed in collegiate gymnastics for Stanford. Stephen Nedoroscik (born October 28, 1998) is an American artistic gymnast who specializes on the pommel horse. He is the 2021 World Champion and a two-time NCAA National Champion on the event. He is a member of the United States men's national gymnastics team. Personal life Nedoroscik was born in Worcester, Massachusetts, on October 28, 1998, to Cheryl and John Nedoroscik. John Brody Malone (born January 7, 2000) is an American artistic gymnast who represented the United States at the 2020 Summer Olympics. He is the 2022 World Champion on horizontal bar and is the 2021 and 2022 U.S. National Champion. He is a ten-time NCAA National Champion and is the 2021 World Championships bronze medalist on horizontal bar. Alexander Michael Diab (born April 25, 1997) is an American artistic gymnast. He is a still rings specialist and is a member of the United States men's national gymnastics team. He was an alternate for the 2020 Summer Olympics. Diab was a member of Illinois Fighting Illini men's gymnastics team from 2016 to 2019, where he won 44 career event titles, and set a program record with 31 career still rings titles. Quazi Syque Caesar (born August 22, 1990) is a former artistic gymnast and current coach. He represented Bangladesh at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London and was a captain of the Michigan Wolverines men's gymnastics team.
