Marc Silvestri (born March 29, 1958) is an American comic book artist, creator and publisher. He serves as CEO of both Top Cow Productions and Image Comics. Tomb Raider (comics)
''Tomb Raider'' comic book series is based on the video game franchise ''Tomb Raider'', currently produced by Crystal Dynamics (formerly by Core Design), which features the character of Lara Croft. The original series of comics, which were released between 1999 and 2005, were published by Top Cow and were primarily based on the games released by Core Design. In 2014, following the reboot of the ''Tomb Raider'' franchise, the series was revived and is currently being published by Dark Horse Comics. The new timeline of events is based upon the rebooted iteration of Lara Croft and her adventures. A spinning top, or simply a top, is a toy with a squat body and a sharp point at the bottom, designed to be spun on its vertical axis, balancing on the tip due to the gyroscopic effect. Once set in motion, a top will usually wobble for a few seconds, spin upright for a while, then start to wobble again with increasing amplitude as it loses energy, and finally tip over and roll on its side. Eric Basaldua (born August 26, 1980, and sometimes credited as Ebas) is an American comic book artist Career Basaldua started his career at Top Cow studios working directly under its founder, Marc Silvestri, starting with backgrounds for him. He is also the brother of comic-inker, Rick Basaldua. Basaldua's most recent interior artwork can be seen in ''Witchblade Annual'' #1. Francis Manapul
Francis Manapul (born August 26, 1979) is a Filipino Canadian comic book artist and writer. Career Manapul is known for his work on ''Witchblade'' and '' The Necromancer'' for Top Cow, working on the former for three years, off and on, returning for the tenth anniversary issue in 2005. He has provided covers for various titles, most notably for some ''G.I. Joe'' comics from Devil's Due Publishing. In 2007, he signed an exclusive contract to work with DC Comics. Manapul served as a guest judge in the fourth week round of the third season of Comic Book Idol, a comic book art competition sponsored by Comic Book Resources. In 2008 Francis became the artist for DC's Legion of Superheroes with Jim Shooter as the writer. Francis co-created the character Gazelle with Shooter before leaving the title. Billy Tan
Billy Tan Mung Khoy, commonly known as Billy Tan, is a Malaysian comic book artist. Early life Billy Tan was born in Malaysia and moved to the United States when he was 18, in 1989 to study business at the University of Kentucky. He began working as a penciler for Image Comics in the 1990s. Career Tan became the regular artist of the Marvel Comics series ''Uncanny X-Men'' in 2006. In 2008, he was invited to draw the '' New Avengers'' issues #41 and 43-44 that tied into the "Secret Invasion" storyline, before being offered to replace Leinil Francis Yu as the new regular artist on the title. Tan took over the flagship ''Green Lantern'' title as ongoing penciller beginning with issue #21. He works together with writer Robert Venditti, who replaced Geoff Johns as series writer. Brian Ching
Brian Ching (born May 24, 1978) is an American former professional soccer player who played for twelve years in Major League Soccer and represented the U.S. national team for eight years. Ching's professional career began when he was the 16th pick overall by the Los Angeles Galaxy in the 2001 MLS SuperDraft, making him the first Gonzaga player and the first player from his native Hawaii selected in the MLS draft. After winning the U.S. Open Cup with Los Angeles, Ching was released from the team and played with the second division Seattle Sounders. He returned to first division soccer when the San Jose Earthquakes acquired him in the 2003 MLS Supplemental Draft. He won an MLS Cup and Supporters' Shield with the Earthquakes, collected the MLS Comeback Player of the Year Award, the MLS Golden Boot, and was named to the MLS Best XI. Witchblade
''Witchblade'' is a comic book series published by Top Cow Productions, an imprint of Image Comics, which ran from November 1995 to October 2015. The series was created by Top Cow founder and owner Marc Silvestri, editor David Wohl, writers Brian Haberlin and Christina Z, and artist Michael Turner. The ''Witchblade'' comic was adapted into a television series in 2001, as well as an anime, a manga and a novel in 2006. A feature film based on the comic, titled ''The Witchblade'', was announced for a 2009 release, but was never produced. A second ''Witchblade'' television series was announced for development in January 2017, but there has been no update since. Top Cow Productions is an American comics publisher, an imprint of Image Comics founded by Marc Silvestri in 1992. Michael Turner (comics)
Michael Layne Turner (April 21, 1971 – June 27, 2008) was an American comics artist known for his work on ''Witchblade'', '' Fathom'', ''Superman/Batman'', '' Soulfire'', and various covers for DC Comics and Marvel Comics. He was also the president of the entertainment company Aspen MLT. Early life Michael Turner was born in Crossville, Tennessee on April 21, 1971. He was a student at the University of Tennessee, and graduated from the International Performing Arts Academy after which he moved to San Diego, California, where he developed an interest in comics. Career Turner was discovered by Marc Silvestri at a convention and hired by Silvestri's Top Cow Productions as an artist.
