ESPN Radio SportsCenter
''ESPN Radio SportsCenter'' is a news recap segment on ESPN Radio that airs during talk programming and sometimes live games coverage, usually by separate anchors. There are two updates an hour, at the top of the hour and 30 minutes past. Background ESPN Radio's marquee segment lasts between one minute and two and a half minutes (depending on time of day) and includes scores, stats, news and sound bites. During the updates, the ''SportsCenter'' theme music plays throughout. ''ESPN Radio SportsCenter'' is heard during marquee programs such as ''Mike and Mike in the Morning''. It is also heard every twenty minutes during Major League Baseball, MLB and National Basketball Association, NBA broadcasts on ESPN Radio. It can also be heard on certain EA Sports games that include ESPN integration. Jay Reynolds is a radio sports and news anchor. He began his reporting and anchoring work in Poughkeepsie, New York radio, having worked the newsrooms of WKIP, WEOK, and WPDH. Sarah Colby Spain (born August 18, 1980) is an American sports reporter. She works as an espnW.com columnist, ESPN Radio host, ESPN television personality and occasional ''SportsCenter'' reporter for ESPN. Early life and education Spain was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and raised in Lake Forest, Illinois. In 1998, as a senior at Lake Forest High School, Spain was the MVP and captain of her track and field, field hockey and basketball teams. Chris Canty (defensive Lineman)
Christopher Lee Canty (born November 10, 1982) is a former American football defensive end. He was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the fourth round of the 2005 NFL Draft. He also played for the New York Giants, winning Super Bowl XLVI with them over the New England Patriots in 2011, and the Baltimore Ravens. He played college football at Virginia. Early years Chris Canty was born in The Bronx, New York. He grew up in the Co-op City section of the borough until he moved to North Carolina at age 15. He did not play football until his junior year. Alan William Hahn (born June 19, 1971) is a sports talk radio host on ESPN Radio and a studio analyst on the MSG Network. Early life and education Hahn is a Long Island native born in Smithtown, New York. He learned how to read as a child by sounding out headlines in his hometown newspaper, '' Newsday''. Bart Scott
Bartholomew Edward Scott (born August 18, 1980) is an American sports analyst and former football player. Scott was a linebacker in the National Football League (NFL) for eleven seasons. After playing college football for the Southern Illinois Salukis, he was signed by the NFL's Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent in 2002. Scott was selected to the Pro Bowl in 2006. After playing his first seven years with the Ravens, Scott signed with the New York Jets in 2009. He would play his final four seasons for the Jets. Jason David Williams (born September 10, 1981) is an American former basketball player and television analyst. He played college basketball for the Duke Blue Devils men's basketball team and professionally for the Chicago Bulls in the NBA. Then known as Jason Williams, he won the 2001 NCAA Championship with Duke, and was named NABC Player of the Year in 2001 and 2002. He was drafted second overall in the 2002 NBA Draft by the Bulls. He asked to be called Jay on joining the Bulls, to avoid confusion with two other players in the NBA at the time. His playing career was effectively ended by a motorcycle accident in 2003.
