ESC Geestemünde
ESC Geestemünde is a sports club from the Geestemünde district of Bremerhaven, Germany. The club's first football team achieved promotion to the Bremen-Liga in 2015. History In May 2012, discussions took place among the clubs FT Geestemünde, Geestemünder SC, ''Geestemünder TV'', and ''ESV Bremerhaven'' regarding a potential merger. However, the proposed ''SV Bürgerpark'' did not materialize. Eventually, in the summer of 2014, FT Geestemünde, ESV Bremerhaven, and SC Schiffdorferdamm merged their football departments to form ESC Geestemünde. On January 1, 2015, FT Geestemünde absorbed ESV Bremerhaven and underwent a name change to ESC Geestemünde. SC Schiffdorferdamm continued the merger until June 30, 2015, after which it separated from the football department. For the 2015–16 season, the football department merged with the department of Geestemünder SC, significantly strengthening ESC Geestemünde's football department.
