EP Phone Home (Home Grown Album)
''EP Phone Home'' is an EP by the Orange County, California rock band Home Grown, released in 1999 by Outpost Recordings. It was the band's first recording with guitarist Justin Poyser, who replaced Ian Cone the previous year. In between some of the tracks there are brief "joke" songs of only a few chords with the lyrics "This song is only _ seconds long." Between "This Way" and "Sixteen" there is a 5-second song, between "Giving Up" and "No Way Out" there is a 6-second one, and after "No Way Out" a 1-second one. Also "hidden" shortly after this 1-second song are takes of the band trying to record these joke songs. Home Grown
Home Grown was a North American ska punk/pop punk band formed in 1994 in Orange County, California. They released three full-length albums and several EPs before disbanding in 2005. Their music is often characterized as pop punk, lyrically favoring humor and silly or satirical subjects. Band history Formation Home Grown was formed in Orange County in 1994. The original recording lineup of the band consisted of John "John E. Trash" Tran on guitar and vocals, Adam "Adumb" Lohrbach on bass and vocals, Ian "Slur" Cone on guitar and backing vocals, and Bob Herco on drums. The quartet began experimenting with elements of punk rock, pop, surf and skate music, and humorous lyrics to craft their sound. René Dif
René Dif (born 17 October 1967) is a Danish musician, singer-songwriter, DJ and actor, best known as the male lead vocalist of the Danish-Norwegian eurodance group Aqua. Biography 1967–1994: Early years and private life Dif was born in Copenhagen. His father was Algerian and his mother Danish. He has two younger brothers and a sister. He was never interested in school and was kicked out of it several times. Bass Guitar
The bass guitar, electric bass or simply bass (), is the lowest-pitched member of the string family. The guitar is a fretted musical instrument that typically has six strings. Aqua is a Danish-Norwegian Europop and Dance-pop band, best known for their 1997 multi-platinum crossover and novelty single "Barbie Girl". The group formed in 1989 as Joyspeed, and achieved international success around the globe in the late 1990s and early 2000s. The band released three albums: '' Aquarium'' in 1997, ''Aquarius'' in 2000 and '' Megalomania'' in 2011. The group sold an estimated 33 million albums and singles, making them the most profitable Danish band ever. The group managed to top the UK Singles Chart with three of their singles. Claus Norreen
Claus Norreen (born 5 June 1970) is a Danish musician, songwriter and record producer known for being a part of the band Aqua, which sold around 33 million records. He left the band in September 2016 to take on other musical ventures. Biography Claus Norreen was born in Charlottenlund, near Copenhagen. One of his biggest interests was electropop music.Hence, he bought a keyboard and started playing industrial techno. When he finished school he started to work in his sisters' clothing store. The work in the store inspired him and influenced his style of music. In 1989, he met Søren Rasted and moved his music instrument to his residence.
