The Hellenic Organization for Standardization ( el, Ελληνικός Οργανισμός Τυποποίησης, ''Ellīnikós Organismós Typopoíīsīs''; abbreviated ΕΛΟΤ in Greek and ELOT in English) is the national standards organization for the Hellenic Republic (Greece). Romanization of Greek is the transliteration (alphabet, letter-mapping) or Transcription (linguistics), transcription (pronunciation, sound-mapping) of text from the Greek alphabet into the Latin alphabet.
