EHF Cup
The EHF European League is an annual men's handball club competition organised by the European Handball Federation (EHF) since 1981. It is the second-tier competition of European club handball, ranking only below the EHF Champions League. Previously called the EHF Cup, the competition will be known as the EHF European League from the season 2020–21. Portuguese side S.L. Benfica (handball), Benfica are the current holders. History It was formerly known as the IHF Cup until 1993. Also, starting from the 2012–13 EHF Cup, 2012–13 season the competition has been merged with the EHF Cup Winners' Cup. European Handball Federation
The European Handball Federation (EHF) is the umbrella organisation for European handball. Founded on 17 November 1991, it is made of 50 member federations and two associated federations (England and Scotland), and is headquartered in Vienna, Austria. History EHF was founded on 17 November 1991 in Berlin, Germany, although the first EHF Congress convened on 5 June 1992 and assigned EHF's headquarters to Vienna, Austria from 1 September that year. In 2012 the EHF Office celebrated 20 years since it first opened its doors. In the subsequent years, the number of member countries has expanded from the initial 29 to its current number of 50, after Kosovo was granted full membership at the EHF Congress in Dublin, Ireland in September 2014. IFK Karlskrona
IFK Karlskrona are a Swedish handball club based in Karlskrona. The club was founded in 1921. They won Allsvenskan in 1944–1945. They reached the final of the Swedish championship, at the time played as a straight knockout tournament, in 1940, 1944 and 1945, but were beaten each time by Majorna. They won Allsvenskan again in 1948–49, but were eliminated in the first round of the Swedish championship by Näsby IF. In 1952, the Swedish championship tournament was discontinued and the Swedish champions title was awarded to the winners of Allsvenskan. The club finished second in Allsvenskan in 1955–56; their fourth Swedish championship silver. They were relegated from Allsvenkan in 1961 and did not return until 1981. ETO FC Győr (''Egyetértés Torna Osztály Futball Club Győr''; ''Concordance Gymnastics Department Football Club of Győr'') or just ETO, is a football club from the city of Győr in Hungary. CS Minaur Baia Mare, commonly known as CS Minaur or simply Minaur, is handball team based in Baia Mare, Maramureș, Romania. History HC Minaur Baia Mare was founded on May 15, 1974. Thus, it became the first sports club in the country specializing exclusively in handball. Its name means Gold Mine, referring to the gold mines around Baia Mare. From the very beginning, Minaur has been playing exclusively in the first division of the Romanian handball championship. In the beginning, they played in golden jerseys. MOL-Tatabánya Kézilabda Club is a Hungarian team handball club from Tatabánya, that plays in the Nemzeti Bajnokság I. History In Tatabánya, handball boasts a long history. The game took place in an organized form from 1942, within the framework of the Tatabányai Bányász Sport Club (TBSC). The transition from the big field to the small field handball, which was ordered by the Hungarian Handball Association (MKSZ) at the end of 1959, was a fundamental change. Tatabánya could start its new role in the Western Group of NB II. In 1966, TBSC became the champion in the Western Group of NB II, allowing him to start at the forefront.
