EE Storey
Emily "Emy" Storey (born March 31, 1981) is a Montreal-based art director, graphic designer and illustrator. Born in Kinderhook, New York, Storey moved to Montreal to study Design Art at Concordia University, where she received her Fine Arts degree in 2003. Storey's company, Storey Elementary, produces graphic and website design, develops logos, ads, promotional items, band merchandise and album art for clients that include Showtime, Atlantic Records, Warner Music Group, Sanctuary Records, Vapor Records, Maverick Records and Superclose Music. Storey has also designed limited edition shoes for DC Shoes and Macbeth Footwear. Storey has worked with several non-profit organizations as an organizer and as a graphic designer. She is co-founder of Revel and Riot, an LGBT organization. So Jealous
''So Jealous'' is the fourth studio album by Canadian indie pop duo Tegan and Sara, released on September 14, 2004. It is their third album on Vapor Records. The album went gold in Canada and was nominated for a Juno Award for Alternative Album of the Year. Two singles were released, "Walking with a Ghost" and "Speak Slow", with videos for each. "Walking with a Ghost" became the title song of their EP ''Walking with a Ghost'', and was later covered by The White Stripes. The album art was created by designer EE Storey. Paramore
Paramore is an American rock band from Franklin, Tennessee, formed in 2004. The band currently consists of lead vocalist Hayley Williams, guitarist Taylor York and drummer Zac Farro. Williams and Farro are founding members of the group, while York, a high school friend of the original lineup, joined in 2007. The band is signed to Fueled by Ramen, a subsidiary of Atlantic Records, both owned by Warner Music Group. Williams was separately signed to Atlantic as she was scouted when she was a teenager, and they were the only label to let her stay in the band instead of going solo, but Atlantic said the rest of the band had to sign to Fueled by Ramen. Melissa Ferrick (born September 21, 1970) is an American singer-songwriter. Her song "Drive" (2000) is considered a lesbian anthem. She is a music professor at Northeastern University and at Berklee College of Music. Early life Ferrick was raised in Ipswich, Massachusetts. Her father John was a public school teacher who managed several free-jazz bands on the side. As a child, Ferrick would often accompany her father to clubs on Boston's North Shore to watch the bands play. She began taking classical violin lessons at the age of five, and then moved on to the piano. In elementary and junior high school, she learned the trumpet and bass. The Reason (band)
The Reason is a Canadian rock band, formed by Adam White and James Nelan in 2003 in Hamilton, Ontario. History Adam White (vocals) and James "Cubby" Nelan (guitar) formed The Reason in late 2003 after the passing of their punk rock band, Sewing With Nancie. Eventually adding Erik Mikalauskas (guitar), Cam Bordignon ( drums; who replaced original drummer Joe Demars) and Sean Palmer ( bass), The Reason began to write songs and immediately released their first EP - ''Problems Associated With Running''. The band replaced Mikalauskas with Jeremy Widerman on guitar shortly afterwards, and went on tour. The Inevitable Backlash is a rock band based in Los Angeles, California. The band released their debut in March 2007. ''The Last Little Life EP'' is the first EP by American rock band The Rentals and is a collection of new material from the band in more than 8 years. The Rentals
The Rentals are an American rock band fronted by vocalist Matt Sharp. Sharp has been the only consistent member since the group's inception. The band's best selling single is "Friends of P" (1995). The Rentals released two albums, ''Return of the Rentals'' (1995) and '' Seven More Minutes'' (1999) on Maverick Records before quietly splitting in 1999 following a world tour.
