EDSA Station (PNR)
EDSA station is a railway station located on the South Main Line in Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines. It derives its name from nearby Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA, the avenue which it is named after). EDSA is the eleventh station from Tutuban and is one of three stations serving Makati, the other two being Buendia and Pasay Road, and is the last station to be physically located in Makati before entering Taguig. The station was rebuilt in 2005 by the Makati City Government as part of the overall redevelopment and beautification of the Magallanes Interchange Park which sits below the interchange. As a result, unlike other stations, EDSA station was not included in the 2009 remodeling of stations as part of PNR's rehabilitation efforts. Osmeña Highway
The President Sergio Osmeña Sr. Highway (often shortened as Osmeña Highway), also known as the South Superhighway, is a major highway that links Quirino Avenue in Paco, Manila to Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA) and South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) at the Magallanes Interchange in Makati. The highway is designated as a component of National Route 145 (N145) of the Philippine highway network and of Radial Road 3 (R-3) of Metro Manila's arterial road network. The highway is named after Sergio Osmeña, the 4th President of the Philippines. In addition, its name is also alternatively applied on South Luzon Expressway's section from Magallanes Interchange to Alabang Interchange in Muntinlupa. Dela Rosa Station
Dela Rosa station is a railway station located on the South Main Line in Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines. Dela Rosa is the ninth station from Tutuban and is one of three PNR stations serving Makati, the other two being Pasay Road and EDSA. Dela Rosa station is the replacement of Buendia station, which closed on September 7, 2017. On August 1, 2018, Dela Rosa station became part of newly opened Caloocan shuttle line until September 10 when the line was extended to FTI railway station as the new terminus of the said line. Alabang Railway Station
Alabang station is a railway station located on the South Main Line in Muntinlupa, Metro Manila, Philippines. Description The station is the sixteenth station southbound from Tutuban and is one of three PNR stations serving Muntinlupa, the two others being Sucat and Muntinlupa. The station is located on T. Molina Street in Alabang, Muntinlupa, near the Alabang Viaduct of the South Luzon Expressway. Alabang station is the only PNR station to be completely rebuilt in a different location, having been moved from its original location at Montillano Street to behind Starmall Alabang on T. Molina Street. The new station was opened on April 19, 2010. Magallanes Station
Magallanes station is an elevated Manila Metro Rail Transit (MRT) station situated on Line 3. The station is named after the adjacent Magallanes district of Makati, which in turn is named after Ferdinand Magellan, who discovered the Philippines for Spain on April 15, 1521. Although the station is named after Magallanes, it also serves passengers from Kayamanan-C and barangays Dasmariñas, Pio del Pilar, and San Lorenzo in Makati, and those from Taguig. The Metro Rail Transit Line 3, also known as the MRT Line 3, MRT-3 or Metrostar Express, is a Medium-capacity rail system, light rapid transit system line of Metro Manila, Philippines. Originally referred to as the Blue Line, MRT Line 3 was reclassified to be the Yellow Line in 2012. Jeepneys (), sometimes called jeeps (), are minibus-like public utility vehicles, serving as the most popular means of public transportation in the Philippines. They are known for their crowded seating and kitsch decorations, which have become a widespread symbol of Philippine culture and art. A Sarao jeepney was exhibited at the Philippine pavilion at the 1964 New York World's Fair as a national image for the Filipinos. FTI Station
FTI station (also called Food Terminal Junction station) is a railway station located on the South Main Line in Taguig, Metro Manila, Philippines. It is named after its major landmark, the grounds of the formerly state-owned Food Terminal, Inc. which is now renamed as Arca South. The station is the thirteenth station from Tutuban and is one of two stations serving Taguig, the other station being Nichols. The station was opened on January 19, 1977 as Food Terminal Junction station, replacing the now-defunct Balagbag station that was located few meters northwest.
