Edel Paragliders was a South Korean aircraft manufacturer based in Gwangju and headed by Sung Heon Song. Apoula Edima Bete Edel ( hy, Ապուլա Էդիմա Էդել Բետե; born 17 June 1986) is a former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Born in Cameroon, he played for the Armenia national team. Club career Early career Apoula Edel was born in Yaoundé, Cameroon and moved to Armenia in 2002. He signed a contract with Pyunik FC in March 2003. In 2005, he joined Rapid București along with Carl Lombé, by unilaterally terminating his contract without just reason. Pyunik FC submitted the case to FIFA Dispute Resolution Chamber. Leon Edel
Joseph Leon Edel (9 September 1907 – 5 September 1997) was an American/Canadian literary critic and biographer. He was the elder brother of North American philosopher Abraham Edel. The ''Encyclopædia Britannica'' calls Edel "the foremost 20th-century authority on the life and works of Henry James." His work on James won him both a National Book Award and a Pulitzer Prize. Life and career Edel was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the son of Fannie (Malamud) and Simon Edel. Edel grew up in Yorkton, Saskatchewan. Abraham Edel
Abraham Edel (6 December 1908 – 22 June 2007) was a North American philosopher and ethicist. He was the younger brother of the North American literary critic and biographer Leon Edel, and the uncle of the composer Joel Mandelbaum. He was married three times; his first two wives were fellow academics and co-authors, the anthropologist May Mandelbaum Edel, and the philosopher Elizabeth Flower respectively. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he grew up in Yorkton, Saskatchewan. Edel attended McGill University, Oxford University and Columbia University. Alfred William "Al" Edel (July 30, 1935 – July 3, 2005) was a veteran news broadcaster who anchored the newscast for the Voice of America on shortwave radio. Biography Al Edel was born in Buffalo, New York. He graduated from the College of Wooster in Ohio and received his master's in communications from Syracuse University. Edel worked for radio station, WBKW in Buffalo before moving to Frankfurt, Germany in 1960 to broadcast on the thirteen station American Forces Network in Europe.
