EC Juventude
Esporte Clube Juventude, also known as Juventude, is a Brazilian football team in Caxias do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul. The club currently competes in the top tier of Brazilian football, the Série A, as well as in Campeonato Gaúcho Série A, the first level of the Rio Grande do Sul state football league. Major titles won by the club include the 1999 Copa do Brasil and the 1994 Campeonato Brasileiro Série B. Juventude also competes in the top tier state league of Rio Grande do Sul, having won it once, in 1998. Their greatest rival is Caxias, with whom it contests the Caxias do Sul derby, also known as CaJu. History Juventude was founded on June 29, 1913, by 35 youngsters from Caxias do Sul, descendants of Italian immigrants, being one of the first football clubs in that community. Estádio Alfredo Jaconi
Estádio Alfredo Jaconi, is a football stadium inaugurated on March 23, 1975, during the centennial commemoration of the state's Italian Colonization, in Caxias do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, with a maximum capacity of 30,519 people. The stadium is owned by Esporte Clube Juventude. Its formal name honors Alfredo Jaconi (1910–1952), who was a player, a manager and a director of Juventude during the 1930s and the 1940s. 2020 Campeonato Brasileiro Série B
The 2020 Campeonato Brasileiro Série B was a football competition held in Brazil, equivalent to the second division. The competition was originally scheduled to begin on 2 May and end on 28 November, however due to the COVID-19 pandemic the tournament was rescheduled for 7 August 2020–29 January 2021. Twenty teams competed in the tournament, twelve returning from the 2019 season, four promoted from the 2019 Campeonato Brasileiro Série C ( Confiança, Juventude, Náutico and Sampaio Corrêa), and four relegated from the 2019 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A (Avaí, Chapecoense, Cruzeiro and CSA). This was the first Série B played by Cruzeiro in their history. Cruzeiro were deducted six points after their denial to pay the fee that was agreed upon with Emirati side Al Wahda over Denílson loan in 2016. Campeonato Brasileiro Série C
The Campeonato Brasileiro Série C is the third tier of the Brazilian football league system. Unlike the first and second divisions, the Série C is not played in a double round robin system, arguably because many participating teams lack the financial conditions to travel long distances. Thus, the tournament is organized in regional groups and the table prevents teams from distant states from playing each other in the initial rounds. Until 2008, any professional team could apply, but only 64 teams would take part in the tournament. The teams that had been relegated from the Série B in the previous year were joined by teams qualified for each federation state. Campeonato Brasileiro Série D
The Campeonato Brasileiro Série D (English: Brazilian Championship Serie D) is the fourth division of the Brazilian football league system, and was announced by the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) on April 9, 2008. The Campeonato Brasileiro Série D was formed from the split of the Série C, keeping its best 20 clubs and playing double round robin as does the top three divisions. The Série D keeps the same format of the older Série C, but with participation limited to 40 clubs recognized by the state federation. In 2016 the Série D was expanded to 68 clubs, but in 2022 it will be reduced to 64 clubs.
