ECS Triathlon
Espérance cycliste Sartrouville Triathlon or ECS Triathlon is a French sports club based in the suburbs of Paris, commune of Sartrouville. The club's specialization is triathlon for elite level athletes, especially Olympians. Team members have won a total of eight Olympic medals, including the gold medals in male and female triathlon at the 2016 Summer Olympics, and gold, silver, and bronze medals in male triathlon at the 2012 Summer Olympics. History ''Espérance cycliste Sartrouville Triathlon'' was founded in 1993 by Pierre Veron as a section of the cycling club ''Espérance cycliste Sartrouville''. Veron led the team until his death in 2009, after which leadership passed to his son, Denis Veron. A female team was created in 2000. Sartrouville () is a commune in the Yvelines department, Île-de-France, north central France. it is located in the north-western suburbs of Paris, from the center of Paris. Name In the Middle Ages the name Sartrouville was recorded in Medieval Latin as ''Sartoris Villa''. The origin and meaning of ''Sartoris Villa'' is still debated. David Hauss
David Hauss (born 1 February 1984, in Paris) is a French professional triathlete and bronze medalist at the European Championships 2010. Thanks to his 7th position at the World Championship Series triathlon in London (7 August 2011), together with Laurent Vidal, he qualified for the Olympic Games 2012, where he finished in 4th place, eighteen seconds behind bronze medalist Jonathan Brownlee. David Hauss is number 6 in the World Championship Series ranking 2011 and thus the best French elite triathlete. At the French Championship (Olympic Distance) in Villiers-sur-Loir (24 September 2011) he placed 10th. Jolanda Annen (born 11 September 1992) is a Swiss triathlete. She finished in first place at the 2016 ITU Triathlon World Cup event in Huatulco. Crisanto Grajales Valencia (born 6 May 1987) is a Mexican triathlete who won gold medals at the 2014 Central American and Caribbean Games and 2015 Pan American Games. (born 15 May 1976 in Ústí nad Labem) is a triathlete from the Czech Republic. Ospalý competed at the first Olympic triathlon at the 2000 Summer Olympics. He did not finish the competition.
