"Exotic" is a song composed by Bruce Morgan and recorded by various bands back in 1963 when it was first released. The Sentinals
The Sentinals were a surf rock band from San Luis Obispo, California (1961–1965). The band is notable for a Latino influence in some works, such as "Latin'ia" (1962). Notable band members included Tommy Nuñes, drummer John Barbata (later of The Turtles and Jefferson Starship) and Lee Michaels (then known as Michael Olsen) on keyboards. The El Caminos
The El Caminos are a Japanese surf music band who were formed in the 1990s. They had an album that charted in the late 1990s. Background They have been described as a band that peruses the sounds of surf music from the 1960s without limits. They were formed in Japan by Eddie Ugata of the L.S.D.s. Ugata who is said to be authority on 1960s surf music and vintage guitar collector formed The El Cominos in 1994 out of what remained of his previous group. They did quite well on the Kansai garage scene and debuted with ''Knock 'Em Out''. The group is made up of both male and female musicians. Described as Japanese surf freaks, their surf guitar album, ''Reverb Explosion!'' was their first release in the US. Sundazed Music is an American independent record label based in Coxsackie, New York. It specializes in obscure and rare recordings from the 1950s to the 1970s. In 2000, Sundazed had a staff of 15 and two mixing studios, including a vintage audio equipment collection. History Label founders Bob Irwin and his wife Mary started the label in 1989. Irwin's skill at restoring old vinyl records for the (then new) CD format, attracted the attention of major labels, who increasingly solicited him to help them re-issue material from their back catalogs. He helped Sony Music release their archival Legacy Records label. Later, his restoration work included early material by the likes of Bob Dylan, Nancy Sinatra, and the Byrds. Irwin also worked at Arista Records, Arista for a time.
