''Please Come Home'' is the first studio album by Dustin Kensrue, released in 2007. Songs The album contains eight songs, which Kensrue has emphasized was a reflection of the albums/EPs he used to buy as a kid. Recording The album was recorded in the studio of Thrice lead guitarist Teppei Teranishi, who also played piano and organ on the album. Electric guitars and drums were recorded by long-time friend and Thrice guitar technician, Chris Jones. Release The album was planned for release in October 2006, but was delayed to 2007 due to issues recording and acquiring a label to distribute it. On October 10, 2006, it was announced that Kensrue had signed with Equal Vision Records, and that the label would release his debut solo album. The Angels Of Light
Angels of Light was an American neofolk band that was formed circa 1998 by singer-songwriter and musician Michael Gira after he disbanded Swans, the group he had founded in 1982. The band has marked a distinctly different style for Gira since he left Swans, most noticeably being musically more melodic and less brutal than his previous efforts and with emphasis on acoustic instruments and folk and country influences. Before the band was formed, Gira intended to call his post-Swans acoustic/song-based project The Pleasure Seekers. This name was discarded because there had been a group with the same name in the 1960s. The first two live performances of what would become the Angels of Light (the Tonic/Bowery Ballroom benefit shows) were billed as "Michael Gira with guests". Thomas Baptist Morello (born May 30, 1964) is an American guitarist, singer, songwriter, and political activist. He is known for his tenure with the rock bands Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave. Between 2016 and 2019, Morello was a member of the supergroup Prophets of Rage. Morello was also a touring musician with Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. Under the moniker the Nightwatchman, Morello released his solo work. Together with Boots Riley, he formed Street Sweeper Social Club. Morello co-founded Axis of Justice, which airs a monthly program on Pacifica Radio station KPFK (90.7 FM) in Los Angeles. Chris Jones (November 11, 1958 – September 13, 2005) was an American singer and guitarist who worked mainly in Europe, having moved to Germany after he joined the United States Army. He often recorded with the German audiophile label Stockfisch Records. Biography Christopher Paul Jones was born in Reno, Nevada. At the age of five, he began playing the guitar. A few years later, he decided to become a professional musician, and when he was 11 years old, he was admitted to a program at the Peabody Conservatory of Music in Baltimore, Maryland.
