Everything (P-Money Album)
''Everything'' is the third studio album by New Zealand music producer P-Money. It was released on 3 May 2010 in New Zealand and on 18 June 2010 in Australia on Central Station. Production was handled entirely by P-Money, who also served as executive producer together with Callum August. It features guest appearances from Vince Harder, Con Psy, PNC, Scribe, Aaradhna, Meryl Cassie, Mz J, and Milan Borich of Pluto. The album peaked at number 25 on the NZ Official Top 40 Albums, and was nominated for 'Best Electronica Album' at the 2010 New Zealand Music Awards. It was supported by a hit single "Everything", which peaked at number one in New Zealand and was nominated for 'Single of the Year' at the 2009 New Zealand Music Awards. P-Money
Peter Wadams, better known by his stage name P-Money, is a New Zealand hip-hop DJ and producer. One of his best-known works is "Everything", featuring New Zealand R&B singer Vince Harder, which reached number one on the New Zealand Singles Chart for three weeks in 2008; however, he is probably best known for his recordings with Scribe, including the 2003 smash hit "Not Many". Peter Wadams is also credited as co-writer and producer on the 2017 hit " Call on Me" by Australian singer Starley. Career P-Money's initial entry into the music industry was via DJ competitions and student radio. In 2004, he released his second studio album, '' Magic City'', which charted at #2 on the RIANZ New Zealand Singles Chart. PNC (rapper)
Sam Hansen, better known by his stage name PNC, is a New Zealand hip hop artist and rapper. The name "PNC" is an acronym for Palmerston North City. He attended Awatapu College. PNC first gained underground notoriety performing alongside Breaking Wreckwordz. His unofficial single "Day in the Life" stayed at number one on the Bfm charts for three weeks. He followed that with appearances on P-Money's "321 Remix", "Get Back" and the NZ chart topping "Stop The Music" single from the ''Magic City'' album in 2004. PNC later signed to P-Money's Dirty Records and released his first album, ''Rookie Card'', in 2006. The first two singles, "Bomb!" and "Just Roll", were relatively successful songs in New Zealand. He followed with hit singles P-N-Whoa! and "Who Betta Than This" (which samples the song "3,2,1 Remix"). ''Fish Out of Water'' is the debut studio album by English bassist and songwriter Chris Squire, released in November 1975 by Atlantic Records. The album was recorded during a period in which each band member of Yes had taken down time to produce a solo album. Some of the musicians Squire hired for the project were former Yes drummer Bill Bruford, then-Yes keyboardist Patrick Moraz, King Crimson saxophonist Mel Collins and Canterbury scene flautist Jimmy Hastings. Squire's former bandmate in The Syn, Andrew Pryce Jackman, played all the keyboards not performed by Moraz (excepting the cathedral pipe organ performed by Barry Rose) and orchestrated the material. Christopher Russell Edward Squire (4March 1948 – 27June 2015) was an English musician, singer and songwriter best known as the bassist and backing vocalist of the progressive rock band Yes (band), Yes. He was the longest-serving original member, having remained in the band until his death and appearing on every studio album released from 1969 to 2014. In 2017, he was posthumously inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Yes. Squire was widely regarded as the dominant bassist among the English progressive rock bands, influencing peers and later generations of bassists with his incisive sound and elaborately contoured, melodic bass lines. Blame (music Producer)
Conrad Shafie, better known as Blame, is an English DJ, musician, music producer, and songwriter. He is considered one of the pioneers of the drum and bass genre. Some of Blame's singles appeared on the UK Singles Chart between 1992 and 2004. Career Blame grew up listening to electro and hip hop music. Whilst in school, Blame was exposed to House music from Europe and the United States and was inspired to combine hip hop breakbeats with House sounds. He then hired a community recording studio in Luton called the 33 Arts Centre to work on his own music and the resulting track was "Music Takes You", which ended up being signed to the Moving Shadow record label in 1991 while he was still a teenager. 2009 New Zealand Music Awards
The 2009 New Zealand Music Awards was the 44th holding of the annual ceremony featuring awards for musical artists based in or originating from New Zealand. Finalists for the three technical awards were announced on 6 August 2009, with winners announced on 2 September at the Langham Hotel. Finalists for 14 'non-technical' categories were also revealed the same night. Five 'non-technical' awards were presented without a group of finalists being selected. The Official New Zealand Music Chart ( mi, Te Papa Tātai Waiata Matua o Aotearoa) is the weekly New Zealand top 40 singles and albums charts, issued weekly by Recorded Music NZ (formerly Recording Industry Association of New Zealand). The Music Chart also includes the top-20 New Zealand artist singles and albums and top 10 compilation albums. Pluto is a New Zealand rock band from Auckland. Their album '' Pipeline Under The Ocean'', released in 2005 went double platinum on the RIANZ albums chart. Meryl Cassie
Meryl Danielle Cassie (born 2 April 1984) is a New Zealand actress and singer. She has three children, a son, Rylon born in 2006 and two daughters Breeze (Born 18 October 2013) and Diaz (born 2015). She is most famous for her role as Ebony in the sci-fi series '' The Tribe'', but has also appeared in other series, such as ''Revelations - The Initial Journey'', ''Shortland Street'' and ''Hercules''.
