Everlasting (BoA Song)
"Everlasting" is BoA's 18th Japanese single and 4th Korean single. The leading track "Everlasting" is a ballad, and the B-side track, "Soundscape" is a mid-tempo song for Japanese version and "People say..." for the Korean version B-side track. This single also contains the first "classical version" (orchestral composition remake) of any BoA songs thus far, "Everlasting: Classical Ver.". Commercial endorsements "Everlasting" was used as the network advertisement for the online Japanese music giant, music.jp; it was also used as the ending theme for the TV Asahi drama "Gate of Miracles". In addition to these two large endorsements, "Everlasting" was also used as the featured track for the Japanese dubbing of the movie Oliver Twist. There were no endorsements using "Soundscape". Outgrow
Outgrow is the fourth Japanese studio album (ninth overall) by South Korean singer BoA. It was released on February 15, 2006, and features the singles " Do the Motion", " Make a Secret", "Dakishimeru", and " Everlasting". The album also features the track " First Snow" from BoA's special digital single, "Merry Christmas from BoA". Several of the album's songs have either been written or composed by BoA herself. The album comes in two editions, a limited CD+DVD edition, and a regular (unlimited) CD-only edition. Both editions come with different covers (as shown on the table on the right), and the CD features 13 tracks, including a bonus track of " First Snow" alongside 5 new songs. The limited edition CD+DVD version includes a DVD with 5 video clips (4 of which are of all of the music videos from the featured singles and an additional special "behind the scenes" clip). The title track was unexpectedly previewed at the Lipton event on October 15, and the song was reminiscent of some of her earlier songs such as Valenti (with the same writer and producer). "Nanairo no Ashita: Brand New Beat / Your Color" is BoA's nineteenth Japanese single and her fifth double A-side single. It is her first single to be released in both CD and in CD+DVD formats. The former is an upbeat pop song while the latter is a ballad, similar to her previous single, ''Everlasting''. This is her first single released off of her fifth Japanese studio album, Made in Twenty (20). Overview Although Nanairo no Ashita: Brand New Beat / Your Color didn't reach the top spot on the charts, its first week sales were the highest BoA had achieved since Do the Motion. Moreover, the long chart life which the single was able to achieve allowed it to become her 8th highest selling single to date.
