Evaldo dos Santos Fabiano (born 18 March 1982), known simply as Evaldo, is a Brazilian former professional footballer who played as a left-back. Club career Evaldo was born in Rio Piracicaba, Minas Gerais. Having started out professionally with Club Athletico Paranaense and Democrata Futebol Clube, he moved to Europe in 2003, as he was purchased by FC Porto in Portugal; he spent most of his only season with their reserves. In summer 2004, Evaldo was involved in a transfer that brought compatriot Pepe from C.S. Marítimo as he, Antonieliton Ferreira and Tonel all went to Madeira. After a shaky start, he became an undisputed starter. Evaldo joined S.C. Braga in the 2008 off-season, after four years in Madeira. With no competition in his position, he only missed one Primeira Liga match in his first year, as the Minho side qualified once again for the UEFA Cup. Kepler Laveran de Lima Ferreira (born 26 February 1983), known as Pepe (; ), is a professional footballer who plays as a centre back for Porto and the Portugal national team. He is regarded as one of the best defenders of his generation. During his professional career, Pepe played for Marítimo, Porto, Real Madrid, and Beşiktaş, with individual and team success with the middle two clubs. He won three La Liga titles, three UEFA Champions League titles, two Copa del Rey titles and played 334 games for Real Madrid. Minho Province
Minho () was a former province in Portugal, established in 1936 and dissolved in 1976. It consisted of 23 municipalities, with its capital in the city of Braga. Today, the area would include the districts of Braga and Viana do Castelo. Minho has substantial Celtic influences and shares many cultural traits with neighbouring Galicia in Northwestern Spain. The Primeira Liga (; English: Premier League, also written as Liga Portugal 1), also known as Liga Portugal Bwin for sponsorship reasons, is the top level of the Portuguese football league system. SIC Notícias () is the cable news channel of the Portuguese television network SIC (''Sociedade Independente de Comunicação'') and the second thematic channel of the station.
