European Motorcycle Grand Prix
The European motorcycle Grand Prix was a motorcycling event that was introduced as part of the Grand Prix motorcycle racing World Championship from 1991 to 1995. From 1996 onward the event was replaced by the Catalan Grand Prix. In 2020, the event was briefly revived, with the race taking place on the Circuit Ricardo Tormo. The decision was largely influenced by the COVID-19 pandemic, which led to the change of the calendar. Between 1924 and 1948, the European Grand Prix was not a race in its own right but just an honorific title; one of the national Grands Prix was also designated as the European Grand Prix. The first race to be so named was the 1924 Nations Grand Prix, held at the Monza circuit in Italy. Until 1937, the winners of the race designated the European Grand Prix were awarded the title of European champion. Joan Mir
Joan Mir Mayrata () (born 1 September 1997) is a Spanish Grand Prix motorcycle racer riding for the Repsol Honda Team, who is best known for winning the 2020 MotoGP World Championship with Suzuki. He is the fourth Spanish rider to win the premier class title after Àlex Crivillé, Jorge Lorenzo and Marc Márquez, and the second Mallorcan after Lorenzo. Mir has also won the 2017 Moto3 World Championship title with Leopard Racing. Kalex Engineering is a German specialty engineering company that designs, manufactures and sells high-performance parts for motorcycles. Kalex Engineering was founded in 2008 in the Bavarian city of Bobingen, Germany by Klaus Hirsekorn and Alex Baumgärtel. Company history The name of Kalex was created by merging the two first names of the company founders, Klaus Hirsekorn and Alex Baumgärtel. Marco Bezzecchi
Marco Bezzecchi (born 12 November 1998) is an Italian Grand Prix motorcycle racer, competing for Mooney VR46 Racing Team in the 2023 MotoGP World Championship. Career Junior career Bezzecchi won the Italian Moto3 championship in 2015, and also made his debut in the 2015 FIM CEV Moto3 Junior World Championship that season. He ended the year 16th in the standings, with 29 points, finishing in the top-10 on three occasions. The 2016 FIM CEV Moto3 Junior World Championship was very similar for him, finishing in the top-10 three times, this time scoring 31 points, enough for 18th in the standings. Raúl Fernández González (born 23 October 2000) is a Spanish Grand Prix motorcycle racer competing in the MotoGP World Championship with RNF MotoGP Team. His younger brother, Adrián, is also a motorcycle racer. They are not related to Moto2 rider Augusto Fernández. He was 2018 FIM CEV Moto3 Junior World Champion. Career Junior career Fernández competed in the 2015 Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup, finishing 3rd in Brno, 2nd in Misano, and 2nd in Aragón in his rookie campaign, ending the season 7th in the overall standings, with 121 points. Aprilia is an Italian motorcycle manufacturer founded immediately after World War II in Noale, Italy, by Alberto Beggio.
