Europe Of The Peoples–Greens
Europe of the Peoples–The Greens ( es, Europa de los Pueblos–Verdes, EdP–V) was a Spanish electoral alliance formed for the 2009 European Parliament election in Spain. The alliance consisted of eleven parties, nine leftwing nationalist and two green. All member parties were allied with either the European Free Alliance or the European Greens. The program of the alliance emphasized multiculturalism, environmentalism, democratic reform, peace and a commitment to a social Europe. The electoral support was enough to give the alliance one seat in the European Parliament: this was taken by Oriol Junqueras from the Catalan ERC. The MEP was expected to sit in the European Greens–European Free Alliance group in the European Parliament. Eusko Alkartasuna (; en, Basque Solidarity; es, Solidaridad Vasca; french: Solidarité basque) is a Basque nationalist and social-democratic political party operating in Spain and France. The Basque language name means ''Basque Solidarity'' and abbreviated as EA. The party describes itself as a " Basque nationalist, democratic, popular, progressive and non-denominational party". Recently, the party adopted the slogan "Euskal Sozialdemokrazia" ("Basque social democracy"). Aralar (Basque Political Party)
Aralar was a Basque nationalism, Basque socialism, socialist and separatist political party in Spain. It was opposed to the violent struggle of ETA (separatist group), ETA. History Aralar was born in the 1990s from a critical tendency within Herri Batasuna (HB) and Euskal Herritarrok (EH), led by Patxi Zabaleta. The tendency had its main base in Navarre. The breaking of ETA's truce in 2000 provoked Herri Batasuna's reformation into Batasuna, to have presence in all Euskal Herria. Following disagreements over the internal organization of Batasuna, Aralar broke away to form a separate political party. In 2004 the youth wing of Aralar, Iratzarri, was founded. The Galician Nationalist Bloc ( gl, Bloque Nacionalista Galego, BNG ) is a political alliance of left-wing Galician nationalist parties. It is self-defined as a "patriotic front".
