The following is the list of squads for each of the 16 teams competing in the EuroBasket 1999, held in France between 21 June and 3 July 1999. Each team selected a squad of 12 players for the tournament. EuroBasket 1999
The 1999 FIBA European Championship, commonly called FIBA EuroBasket 1999, was the 31st FIBA EuroBasket regional basketball championship held by FIBA Europe, which also served as Europe qualifier for the 2000 Olympic Tournament, giving a berth to the top five (or six, depending on Yugoslavia reaching one of the top five places) teams in the final standings. It was held in France between 21 June and 3 July 1999. Sixteen national teams entered the event under the auspices of FIBA Europe, the sport's regional governing body. The cities of Antibes, Clermont-Ferrand, Dijon, Le Mans, Paris, Pau and Toulouse hosted the tournament. Italy won its second FIBA European title by defeating Spain with a 64–56 score in the final. Italy's Gregor Fučka was voted the tournament's MVP. MZT Skopje Aerodrom ( mk, МЗТ Скопје Аеродром) is a basketball club based in Skopje, North Macedonia. The club competes in the Macedonian League and ABA League. The club's home ground is Jane Sandanski Arena, but due to small capacity, the matches in the ABA League and EuroCup between 2012 and 2014 were played in Boris Trajkovski Arena. Since the 2014–15 season, all matches are held in the renovated Jane Sandanski Arena. In its history, MZT Skopje has won the Macedonian championship eight times, the Macedonian Cup ten times, and the Macedonian Super Cup four times. Darko Ruso ( sr-cyr, Дарко Русо; born 28 March 1962) is a Serbian professional basketball coach who is the current head coach for BC Avtodor of the VTB United League and the Kazakhstan Championship. Pallacanestro Virtus Roma, commonly known as Virtus Roma, was an Italian professional basketball club based in Rome, Lazio. It competed in the first division of Italian basketball, the LBA, for the last time in the 2020–21 season. Panathinaikos Football Club B, known as Panathinaikos B, (Greek: ΠΑΕ Παναθηναϊκός B) is a Greek football club based in Athens, Greece. Founded in 2021, they play as the reserve team of Panathinaikos in the Super League Greece 2. Panathinaikos B is one of four reserve teams givens approval from the EPO ( Hellenic Football Association) to play in the second division. Zare Markovski ( mk, Заре Марковски; born October 28, 1960, in Skopje) is a Macedonian former professional basketball player and current assistant coach of Dinamo Sassari of the Italian Lega Basket Serie A (LBA), and head coach of the Romanian national basketball team.
