Euphemia Chalmers Millais, Lady Millais (''née'' Gray; 7 May 1828 – 23 December 1897) was a Scottish artists' model and the wife of Pre-Raphaelite painter John Everett Millais. She had previously been married to the art critic John Ruskin, but she left him with the marriage never having been consummated; it was subsequently annulled. Area 11 is an English rock music, rock band from Nottingham, England. The band consists of four members: Thomas "Sparkles*" Clarke, Alex Parvis, Jonathan Kogan and Leo Taylor. To date, they have released a number of singles, three EPs, and two studio albums. The band's sound is heavy with minimal synthesizers and electronic effects that they call ''modern rock'', however in their earlier records, Area 11's sound commonly blended heavy metal guitar riffs with a wider more prominent range of synthesizers and electronic effects, which they sometimes referred to as ''gaijin rock.'' Frank Anthony Eufemia (born December 23, 1959) is a former Major League Baseball relief pitcher who played in 39 games for the Minnesota Twins in the season. He was drafted by the Twins in the 18th round of the 1982 Major League Baseball draft. His 1985 season was his only one in the majors; he returned to the minor leagues with the Toledo Mud Hens, the Twins’ Triple-A affiliate, for 1986 and was out of baseball the next season. In 1992, Eufemia returned to organized baseball in the New York Mets’ minor league system, pitching for the Tidewater Tides. He once again left baseball following the season and never pitched in a major league team’s system again, although in 1995 he was one of many considered as replacement players during the ongoing strike. Catarina Efigénia Sabino Eufémia (; February 13, 1928 to May 19, 1954) was an illiterate harvester from Alentejo, Portugal who was murdered during a worker's strike by lieutenant Carrajola of the Guarda Nacional Republicana in Monte do Olival, Baleizão, in Beja, Alentejo. Catarina had three children, one eight months old, who was with her when she was shot. The historic tragedy of Catarina came to personify the resistance movement against the regime of Salazar. She was adopted as an icon by the Portuguese Communist Party in Alentejo.
