Ethos (TV Series)
''Ethos'' ( tr, Bir Başkadır, link=no) is a 2020 Turkish drama streaming television series directed by Berkun Oya and starring Öykü Karayel, Fatih Artman, Funda Eryiğit, Defne Kayalar, and Tülin Özen. The show was released on Netflix on 12 November 2020, consisting of one season for a total of 8 episodes. It was set and filmed in Istanbul, Turkey, and tells the story of a group of unique characters from dramatically different socio-cultural backgrounds meeting in startling circumstances. Synopsis ''Ethos'' tells the story of Meryem, a part-time cleaner from a conservative family who lives on the outskirts of Istanbul. She experiences fainting spells and consults Peri, a psychiatrist whose background is dramatically different from Meryem's: she is educated, wealthy, and secular, and holds prejudicial views of openly religious people. Duvar is an online news portal launched on the 8 August 2016 and focuses mainly on Turkish politics. Duvar's headquarters are located in Sariyer Istanbul, and it was founded by Vedat Zencir. its current editor-in-chief is Ali Duran Topuz and it is described to be reporting critical on the Turkish Government. Sinan Tuzcu (born 10 July 1977) is a Turkish actor and scriptwriter. Biography Tuzcu first rose to prominence in 2005 with his role as Ömer in the TV series ''Ihlamurlar Altında''. In the following year, he had a leading role in the operetta ''Ayşe'', which was staged for the first time in 60 years. On 9 July 2006, he married actress Dolunay Soysert, with whom he shared the leading role in ''Ayşe''. Tuzcu also wrote the play ''Sürmanşet'' which was staged by BKM Film, BKM and Istanbul Folk Theatre between 2008 and 2009. In 2014, he wrote the script for the series ''Urfalıyam Ezelden'', which was broadcast on Kanal D and Star TV (Turkey), Star TV. Nihal Geyran Koldaş is a Turkish actress and theater director. She is known for her roles in '' Masumiyet'' as Yusuf's ( Güven Kıraç) elder sister and in '' Bıçak Sırtı'' as Gönül. Together with Zeki Demirkubuz, she was one of the two producers of ''Masumiyet''. Early in her career, she worked mostly in theater.
