Ernie Hart (footballer, Born 1902)
Ernest Arthur Hart (3 January 1902 – 21 July 1954) was an English footballer who played for Leeds United, Mansfield Town, Tunbridge Wells Rangers and the England national team in the 1930s. Football career Hart was born in Overseal, Derbyshire, and showed great promise in Overseal schoolboy and junior football, and later with a side in Doncaster named Woodlands Wesleyans. His performances brought him to the attention of League club scouts, and in September 1920 he signed for Leeds United. Over the next sixteen seasons he was a first team regular at Elland Road Elland Road, or Elland Road Stadium, is a football stadium in Beeston, Leeds, West Yorkshire, England, which has been the Home (sports), home of Leeds United F.C., Leeds United since the club's formation in 1919. Overseal
Overseal is a village and civil parish in South Derbyshire district of Derbyshire, England. It is south of Swadlincote, west of Ashby-de-la-Zouch and south-southwest of Derby. It had a population of the civil parish at the 2011 census was 2,450. Situated within the National Forest area, it is near the villages of Netherseal and Lullington as well as being close to the border with Leicestershire. It is one of the southernmost settlements in Derbyshire. Historically both Overseal and Netherseal were part of Leicestershire: they were transferred from Leicestershire to Derbyshire in 1897, in return for Leicestershire absorbing several of Derbyshire's enclaves (see county enclaves). Wilfreda Beehive
Wilfreda Beehive is a bus and coach operator based in Adwick-le-Street, Doncaster. History Wilfreda Luxury Coaches was formed in 1949 by Bill and Marie Scholey. They took the name from a coach they bought from Wilfred Graham, a taxi operator in Doncaster who named his daughter Wilfreda and then named a coach after her. At first, the company operated coach services from a depot at Ranskill, near Bawtry. In 1987 it acquired the Adwick-le-Street business of E.A. Hart trading as Beehive Services, becoming Wilfreda Beehive, growing its fleet from nine to 23 coaches. Between 1993 and 1998 it operated many bus services, but sold them and its service buses to South Yorkshire Transport, Mainline Group just before the latter was absorbed by First South Yorkshire in 1998.
