Erminio Boso
Erminio Enzo Boso (Pieve Tesino, 9 July 1945 – Pieve Tesino, 10 January 2019) was an Italian politician. Also known under the pseudonym of Obelix, for his massive build and stature, he was one of the founders of the Northern League in the province of Trento. He served as a Senator between 1992 and 1996. In 1997 he was elected to the Padanian Parliament. In 1998 he was elected to the Council of the Autonomous Province of Trento and was then re-elected in 2003. He was a candidate in the 2004 European Parliament Elections, obtaining around 10,000 personal preferences in the North-Eastern Italy constituency. In June 2008 he was proclaimed an MEP, taking over from Gian Paolo Gobbo, and joined the Independence/Democracy parliamentary group. Cécile Kyenge
Cécile Kashetu Kyenge (; born Kashetu Kyenge, 28 August 1964) is an Italian politician and ophthalmologist. She was the Minister for Integration in the 2013–14 Letta Cabinet. From 2014 until 2019, she was a Member of the European Parliament (MEP). Kyenge is of Congolese descent. After moving to Italy in 1983 at the age of 19, she became a qualified ophthalmologist in Modena, Emilia-Romagna. She has founded an intercultural Association (DAWA) to promote mutual awareness, integration and cooperation between Italy and Africa, particularly in her country of birth, the Democratic Republic of Congo. She is also the spokesperson of the association "March First", which works to promote the rights of migrants in Italy. Gian Paolo Gobbo (Treviso, 1 April 1949) is an Italian politician. He is the President of Liga Veneta, the "national" section of Lega Nord in Veneto. In 1978–1980 he was a founding member of Liga Veneta. In 1990 and 1995, he was elected to the Regional Council of Veneto and was Vice President of Veneto from 1994 to 1995.
