Erik Kase Romero
Erik Kase Romero is an American record producer, recording engineer and session instrumentalist. Work As a producer and engineer, Kase Romero began working primarily at the Lake House Recording in Asbury Park, New Jersey, in the early 2010s, and is noted for his work with Lorde and the Bouncing Souls. He has also produced every album by Deal Casino, since their EP ''Heck''. In addition to studio production, Kase Romero does arrangements, such as playing a Hammond B3 for the Jackson Pines' album ''Gas Station Blues & Diamond Rings''. Music journalist Bob Makin describes some of Kase Romero's signature production nuances as "bouncy bass lines and sweet gang vocals." Kase Romero played with Jeff Lane and Natalie Newbold in the groups Green Paper and the Humboldts, before forming dollys in 2013. Griffin House (musician)
Griffin House (born April 21, 1980) was born and raised in Springfield, Ohio. His father worked in a tire shop and his mother helped place children with foster families. In high school, the athletically gifted House landed a role in a musical and was surprised to learn that he had a natural talent for singing. House bought his first guitar for $100 from a friend, turned down a golf scholarship to Ohio University and instead went to Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and started to teach himself how to play the guitar and write songs. House began writing and recording and issued his first independent release, ''Upland'', in 2003. Revue
A revue is a type of multi-act popular theatrical entertainment that combines music, dance, and sketches. The revue has its roots in 19th century popular entertainment and melodrama but grew into a substantial cultural presence of its own during its golden years from 1916 to 1932. Though most famous for their visual spectacle, revues frequently satirized contemporary figures, news or literature. Similar to the related subforms of operetta and musical theatre, the revue art form brings together music, dance and sketches to create a compelling show. ''Gunshow'' is a 2008 webcomic created by KC Green. The webcomic is gag-a-day, having little overarching story and covering a large variation of topics with strong tonal shifts. ''Gunshow'' is well known for spawning the "This is fine" internet meme in 2013. The webcomic concluded in 2014, as Green moved on to other creative work. Overview ''Gunshow'' is written by KC Green, known for other webcomics such as ''Back'', ''He Is A Good Boy'', and ''Pinocchio''. Jackson Pines is an American folk rock band from New Jersey. History Jackson Pines is an indie folk duo from Jackson, New Jersey, consisting of Joe Makoviecki and James Black. Both members were previously playing together, since 2011, in the group Thomas Wesley Stern. Their debut EP, entitled ''NY-23A'', contains an original song and a few covers, and it was recorded using one microphone, in a farmhouse in Palenville, New York. Well Wisher
Well Wisher is an American indie pop group from New Jersey. History Well Wisher is a four-piece from Asbury Park, New Jersey, that formed in 2016. Natalie Newbold and Erik Kase Romero of dollys were rehearsing songs, along with Michael Linardi, and after the disbandment of dollys in 2017, they formed Well Wisher. Newbold explains in an interview with ''The Pop Break'' that following the breakup of dollys, "I started each day by writing for an hour" for Well Wisher. They are described as "mak ngvery catchy indie-punk sound nglike the middle ground between Joyce Manor and Julien Baker" by ''BrooklynVegan''.
