''Enjoy the Process'' is the debut EP from American recording artist Sean Danielsen, the lead vocalist and lead guitarist of American hard rock band Smile Empty Soul. Published on 16 April 2013, the album was produced by Eddie Wohl. Background In 2013, Danielsen began performing solo work so that he can "just do whatever the song is calling for and take it to places Smile never goes" and "to have other outlets for creating work which may not fit into the Smile Empty Soul “mold”". After publishing the EP, PureGrainAudio.com released a free copy of "The Breaks", the first song on the album. Composition Featuring six acoustic tracks performed by the singer accompanied only by his guitar, the tunes recorded for the EP were described by the vocalist as delicate, low key songs best accompanied by light guitar. Eddie Wohl
Eddie Wohl is an American composer, music producer, and mixing engineer. As an artist, he was signed to Epic, Elektra and Mercury/Island, and had a production deal with Roadrunner Records. Growing up on the East Coast, Wohl was in his first band at age 15 and signed his first record deal at the age of 25. Wohl's major influences growing up included Black Sabbath, Stevie Wonder, Public Enemy and McCoy Tyner. Coming out of the New York City club/band scene, he has spent many years as a songwriter and producer. In 1999, Wohl, along with his partners, launched the New York-based Scrap 60 Productions, which was responsible for producing acts such as Anthrax, Ill Nino and H2O, among others. Hard rock or heavy rock is a loosely defined subgenre of rock music typified by aggressive vocals and distorted electric guitars. Smile Empty Soul
Smile Empty Soul is an American rock band, originally from Santa Clarita, California, United States. It was started in 1998 by Sean Danielsen (vocals and guitar), Ryan Martin (bass), and Derek Gledhill (drums). Following the departure of Gledhill and Martin from the band in 2005 and 2017, respectively, Danielsen remains the only founding member still active as well as the band's primary songwriter, frontman, and leader.
