English Cricket Team In New Zealand In 2022–23
The England cricket team toured New Zealand in February 2023 to play two Test matches. The Test matches were not part of the 2021–23 ICC World Test Championship. New Zealand Cricket (NZC) confirmed the fixtures for the tour in June 2022. Squads Ahead of the first Test, Kyle Jamieson was ruled out of the series due to the recurrence of the stress fracture while Matt Henry was unavailable for the first Test due to family reasons. Timothy Grant Southee (born 11 December 1988), is a New Zealand international cricketer who plays for New Zealand cricket team in all formats of the game, captains in Tests and vice captains in T20Is. He is a right-arm fast-medium bowler and a hard-hitting lower order batsman. Devon Philip Conway (born 8 July 1991) is a South African born New Zealand cricketer who plays for the New Zealand cricket team. In March 2020, the International Cricket Council (ICC) confirmed that Conway would be eligible to play for New Zealand from 28 August 2020.
