English Women's Cricket Team In Sri Lanka In 2010–11
The English women's cricket team toured Sri Lanka in 2010, playing a total of two Women's One Day Internationals and three Women's Twenty20 Internationals in the space of eight days. Touring party England's touring party was announced in September 2010, with first-choice wicket-keeper Sarah Taylor choosing take some time off from international cricket. Katherine Brunt and Holly Colvin miss the tour as well to focus on a strength and conditioning programme and to concentrate on University studies. Lauren Griffiths, Beth MacGregor, Susie Rowe and Fran Wilson are called up. Shashikala Siriwardene
Hettimulla Appuhamilage Shashikala Dedunu Siriwardene (born 14 February 1985 in Colombo, Sri Lanka), known as Shashikala Siriwardene, is a Sri Lankan former cricketer who captained the Sri Lankan women's cricket team in Women's One Day International cricket, WODIs. She is the only woman cricketer to take 100 wickets in Women's One Day International cricket, WODIs for Sri Lanka, and thus the only female Sri Lankan to combine this with 1000+ runs. She is also the all-time leading wicket taker for Sri Lanka in WT20I with 77 scalps. She played for Sri Lanka internationally from 2003 to 2020 in a career spanning about 17 years. She is also the longest serving member of the Sri Lankan women's cricket team and is also widely regarded as mother figure of Sri Lankan women's cricket. Fran Wilson
Frances Claire Wilson (born 7 November 1991) is an English cricketer. A right handed batter and right arm off break bowler, she was born in Farnham in Surrey and plays for Gloucestershire, Western Storm and Welsh Fire. She previously played for Somerset, Middlesex, Kent, Sunrisers, Oval Invincibles and Canterbury. She has appeared for the England Academy Women's team and the England Cricket Board Development Women's XI. She made her One Day International debut against Sri Lanka at Colombo on 15 November 2010 and played her first Twenty20 International game for her country four days later. In October 2021, Wilson announced her retirement from international cricket. Sripali Weerakkody
Sripali Shiromala Weerakkody (born 7 January 1986) is a Sri Lankan former cricketer who played in 89 Women's One Day Internationals and 58 Women's Twenty20 Internationals for her country. On 20 August 2007, she broke the record for the highest score in Women's List-A cricket, when she scored 271* for Kandyan Ladies Cricket Club against Pushpadana Ladies. She played as a medium-pace bowler. Weerakkody was a member of Sri Lanka's 2014 Asian Games bronze medal-winning team. Ranmore Martinesz
Ranmore Etholson John Martinesz (born 24 June 1967 in Colombo) is a Sri Lankan umpire and a former first-class cricketer. Martinesz played first-class cricket for the Sebastianites Cricket and Athletic Club. His career was short, with him making just four first-class appearances. Umpiring career Martinesz has proved himself an umpire worthy of being recognized at international level and be included in the ICC's International Panel of Umpires in the near future. For the past three years he has officiated as third umpire in Test matches and ODIs. His most important assignment was umpiring the Euro Asia Cup one-day final between India and Pakistan at Abu Dhabi in front of a crowd of 50,000. Nondescripts Cricket Club (also known by its initials NCC) is a first-class cricket team based in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The team plays at the Nondescripts Cricket Club Ground. Eshani Kaushalya (also known as Eshani Lokusuriyage, born 1 June 1984) is a Sri Lankan cricketer who played for the Sri Lanka national women's cricket team. An all-rounder, she played as a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium pace bowler. Kaushalya made her debut for Sri Lanka during the 2005 Women's Cricket World Cup, scoring seven runs. She collected her first international wicket later during the tournament, trapping West Indian Juliana Nero leg before wicket. Danielle Nicole Wyatt (born 22 April 1991) is an English cricketer who plays for Sussex, Southern Vipers, Southern Brave and England. She plays as an all-rounder, batting right-handed and bowling right-arm off break. She made her England debut against India in Mumbai on 1 March 2010. Early career Wyatt is a right-handed opening/middle order batter and off break bowler. Anya Shrubsole (born 7 December 1991) is an English cricketer who currently plays for Berkshire, Southern Vipers and the Southern Brave. She played for England between 2008 and 2022, and has previously played domestic cricket for Somerset, Western Storm and Perth Scorchers. Beth Louisa Morgan (born 27 September 1981) is a former English cricketer who played as a right-handed batter and right-arm medium bowler. She appeared in seven Test matches, 72 One Day Internationals and 28 Twenty20 Internationals for England between 1999 and 2011. Laura Marsh
Laura Alexandra Marsh (born 5 December 1986) is an English former cricketer. Born in Pembury, Kent, she began playing cricket at 11 and started her career as a medium pace bowler but found greater success when she switched to off spin. She played county cricket for Kent Women, represents the Rubies and made her Test debut against India in 2006. She was part of the England team that retained the Ashes in Australia in 2008 and in England in 2009. She was also part of teams that won the Women's Cricket World Cup in 2009 and 2017.
