Enerhetyk Burshtyn
FC Enerhetyk Burshtyn was a professional Ukrainian football club based in Burshtyn, Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast. History The club was formed in 1948 and was previously called ''Kolhospnyk'' (Collective] farmer), ''Avanhard'' (Vanguard) and ''Henerator'' (Generator). The club played in the Ivano-Frankivs'k oblast league and in the 1990s and after steadily improving they won the Oblast Championship in 1998. They also entered the Ukrainian Football Amateur Association, Ukrainian Amateur Championships and were undefeated champions in that season. The club was granted entry into the Ukrainian Professional Leagues in the next season (1998–99) in the Ukrainian Second League. They competed in the Ukrainian First League struggling most of the time. With 2 games to play in the 2011–12 Ukrainian First League season the club president announced that due to insufficient funds the club would withdraw from the PFL. FC Karpaty Halych ( uk, Футбольний клуб «Карпати») is a professional Ukrainian football club from the historical city of Halych. The team is currently playing Ukrainian Second League. The club was formed back in 1949 as Kolhospnyk Halych, part of the Kolos sports society. In 2000–2009 it was a farm club of FC Enerhetyk Burshtyn. History The team was founded in 1949. The club also represents the city of Burshtyn and in 2000–2009 was a farm club of FC Enerhetyk Burshtyn. In 2019 the club merged with Enerhetyk Burshtyn. Roman Pokora
Roman Mykhaylovych Pokora ( uk, Роман Михайлович Покора, 22 February 1948 – 8 March 2021) was a Ukrainian football player and manager who played most of his career as a midfielder. Career Born in Zboriv, Pokora lived in Vynnyky, a suburb of Lviv, since the age of 4. Pokora played four seasons in the Soviet Top League for FC Karpaty Lviv. Pokora was married and had two sons. The 1999–2000 Ukrainian Second League is the ninth season of 3rd level professional football in Ukraine. The competitions are divided into three groups – A, B, and C. 1997–98 Ukrainian Amateur Cup
The 1997–98 Ukrainian Amateur Cup was the second annual season of Ukraine's football knockout competition for amateur football teams. The competition started on 28 September 1997 and concluded on 30 May 1998. Last season winner FC Domobudivnyk participated in the 1997–98 Ukrainian Cup and was not able to play. Teams Three regions that were represented last season, chose not to participate in the competition among which are such oblasts Khmelnytskyi, Odesa, and Kiev. Instead there debuted representatives from four new oblast among which are Cherkasy, Rivne, Vinnytsia, Zaporizhia. Only two team of the last season, participated (reentered) this season. The Ukrainian Amateur Cup ( uk, Кубок України з футболу серед аматорських команд) or AAFU Cup ( uk, Кубок ААФУ) is a national cup competition in Ukraine for amateur clubs. The nationwide competition among amateur teams in cup format (Olympic system) was revived in the 1996–97 season and since 2008 the winner receives the right to progress to the Ukrainian Cup which serves professional clubs. Format The Cup is intended to be organised between the Cup holders of the regional tournaments, but in reality it is an optional invitational tournament among teams that are delegated by selected regions (oblasts of Ukraine and autonomous republic of Crimea). 1997–98 Amateur championship of Ukraine was the sixth amateur championship of Ukraine and the 34th since the establishment of championship among fitness clubs (KFK) in 1964. Due to the mass withdrawal of teams during the last season, number of groups was reduced to four. The 1991 KFK competitions in Ukraine were republican level competitions conducted by the Football Federation of the Ukrainian SSR. It was 27th season of the KFK in Ukraine since its introduction in 1964 and the last season of the Soviet football competitions. The Ukrainian Cup ( uk, Кубок України) is an association football national knockout cup competition run by the Ukrainian Association of Football. The competition is conducted almost exclusively among professional clubs. Since the 2003–04 season, the Cup winner qualifies to play the Ukrainian Premier League winner for the Ukrainian Super Cup. Current format The format of this competition consists of two stages: a qualification stage with two rounds followed by the main event (four rounds and the final game). The competition involves all professional clubs plus the two finalists of the Ukrainian Amateur Cup (since 2011). Past variations of the competition involved a home-away type of elimination, but the Ukrainian Cup has since changed to a single game per round format.
