Endorfun
''Endorfun'' is a single-player puzzle computer game developed by Onesong Partners and released by Time Warner Interactive in 1995 for Microsoft Windows and Macintosh. It was later released in Japan under the title ''Cu-On-Pa'', appearing on the consoles Super Famicom and PlayStation. A Nintendo 64 version was announced (again under the title ''Cu-On-Pa'') but never released. The game achieved notoriety for the extensive use of spoken "positive affirmations" on its soundtrack. Gameplay The player controls a small cube, referred to as a light body, by using the keyboard or mouse. The light body rolls along a grid (the unified field) collecting life force tiles (coloured tiles with a texture matching that of the cube) by rolling the cube over them such that the top face of the cube matches the colour of the tile. Time Warner Interactive (Group) (TWI) was a studio within Time Warner and a predecessor of Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. It was formed in 1993 after Time Warner bought a controlling interest in Atari Games, and was active until 1996 when WMS Industries, the owners of the Williams, Bally and Midway arcade brands, bought the company. This studio was previously known as Tengen, the consumer division of Atari Games. The Super Nintendo has a library of games, which were released in plastic encased ROM cartridges. The cartridges are shaped differently for different regions; North American cartridges have a rectangular bottom with inset grooves matching protruding tabs in the console, while other regions' cartridges are narrower with a smooth curve on the front and no grooves. The physical incompatibility can be overcome with use of various adapters, or through modification of the console. Internally, a regional lockout chip within the console and in each cartridge prevents PAL region games from being played on Japanese or North American consoles and vice versa. This can be overcome through the use of adapters, typically by inserting the imported cartridge in one slot and a cartridge with the correct region chip in a second slot. ''Tetris'' (russian: link=no, Тетрис) is a puzzle video game created by Soviet software engineer Alexey Pajitnov in 1984. It has been published by several companies for multiple platforms, most prominently during a dispute over the appropriation of the rights in the late 1980s. After a significant period of publication by Nintendo, the rights reverted to Pajitnov in 1996, who co-founded the Tetris Company with Henk Rogers to manage licensing. In ''Tetris'', players complete lines by moving differently shaped pieces (tetrominoes), which descend onto the playing field.
