Emil Engwall
Knut Emil Engwall (English pronunciation: Help:IPA, [nˈʌt ˈɛmɪl ɛŋɡwˈɔːl]; Hangul: 크누트 에밀 잉월; born 3 October 1863, died 27 March 1923) was a Swedish industrialist, activist, politician and heir of the Engwall family. Biography Knut Emil Engwall was the sixth son of :sv:Victor Theodor Engwall, Victor Theodor Engwall. Emil Engwall obtained a civil engineering degree in 1887. He joined Vict. Th. Engwall & Co in 1893. He was appointed as a partner in 1898, deputy CEO in 1905, and ultimately CEO in 1915, following the passing of his brother. Before joining the family business, Knut Emil Engwall, lived in the United States and Mexico. In the United States, he initiated an acquaintanceship with Thomas Edison. In 1881, Knut Emil Engwall volunteered in preparation for the New York City lightening event. Sven Engwall
Sven Victor Engwall was a Swedish businessman, industrialist and professional sailor. He was the heir to the Engwall family in Gävle Municipality, Gävle. Biography Sven Victor Engwall, born in 1891, was the oldest son of Ernst Victor Engwall. In 1912, Sven Engwall graduated as a naval officer. In 1914, he actively participated in World War I. After the war, in 1918, Sven Engwall joined Vict. Th. Engwall & Co. He assumed the position of CEO at Vict. Th. Engwall & Co after his uncle, Knut Emil Engwall, transitioned to a more passive role on the family board. In 1945, Sven Engwall actively participated in the World War II at the same time as he managed the family business. He remained a Captain, Captain of the Navy, in the reserve, after the wars.
