Emerson Fittipaldi (; born 12 December 1946) is a Brazilian former automobile racing driver who won both the Formula One World Championship and the Indianapolis 500 twice each and the CART championship once. Moving up from Formula Two, Fittipaldi made his race debut for Team Lotus as a third driver at the 1970 British Grand Prix. After Jochen Rindt was killed at the 1970 Italian Grand Prix, the Brazilian became Lotus's lead driver in only his fifth Grand Prix. He enjoyed considerable success with Lotus, winning the World Drivers' Championship in 1972 at the age of 25. At the time, he was the youngest ever F1 world champion, and he held the record for 33 years. He later moved to McLaren for 1974, winning the title once again. Emerson Carey, Jr. (January 26, 1906 - May 15, 1983) was an American football player. He was a first-team All-American while attending Cornell University in 1926. Carey was the son of Emerson Carey, Sr., the leading salt manufacturer in Hutchinson, Kansas, a community that became known as "Salt City." Carey enrolled at Cornell University where he played at the guard and center positions on the Cornell Big Red football team from 1924 to 1926. He was captain of Cornell's 1926 team that compiled a record of 6-1-1. Emerson Boozer (born July 4, 1943) is a former running back in the American Football League (AFL) and in the National Football League (NFL). In the last year of separate drafts by the AFL and the NFL, Boozer signed with the AFL's New York Jets, rather than with an NFL team. He played his entire professional career with the Jets.
