The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Budapest ( id, Kedutaan Besar Republik Indonesia di Budapest; hu, Indonéz Köztársaság Nagykövetsége Budapesten) is the diplomatic mission of the Republic of Indonesia to the Republic of Hungary. The first Indonesian ambassador to Hungary was Sarino Mangunpranoto (1962–1966). The current ambassador, Abdurachman Hudiono Dimas Wahab, was appointed by President Joko Widodo on 7 January 2019. History Diplomatic relations between Indonesia and Hungary were established on 26 June 1955. Burhanuddin Mohammad Diah, the Indonesian ambassador to Czechoslovakia was appointed non-resident ambassador to Hungary on 13 November 1959. Hungary–Indonesia relations refer to bilateral relations between Hungary and Indonesia. The two countries established diplomatic relations in 1955. A Hungarian embassy was opened in Jakarta in 1957. In line to Hungarian "Eastern Opening" policy, and due to Indonesian political weight and market potentials, Hungary considered Indonesia as one of the most influential states in the ASEAN. While Indonesia sees Hungary as a potential market and a strategic entrance to penetrate the markets of Central Europe and Eastern Europe. Branko Crvenkovski ( mk, Бранко Црвенковски, pronounced ; born 12 October 1962) is a Macedonian politician who served as Prime Minister of Macedonia from 1992 to 1998 and again from 2002 to 2004, and as President of Macedonia from 2004 to 2009. Franjo Tuđman
Franjo Tuđman (; 14 May 1922 – 10 December 1999), also written as Franjo Tudjman, was a Croatian politician and historian. Following the country's independence from Yugoslavia, he became the first president of Croatia and served as president from 1990 until his death in 1999. He was the ninth and last President of the Presidency of SR Croatia from May to July 1990. Tuđman was born in Veliko Trgovišće. In his youth, he fought during World War II as a member of the Yugoslav Partisans.
