Elmer Roy Smith
Elmer Roy Smith (December 24, 1913 – September 14, 1989) was a carpenter and political figure in Ontario. He represented Parry Sound in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario from 1943 to 1945 as a Co-operative Commonwealth member. Parry Sound is a town in Ontario, Canada, located on the eastern shore of the sound after which it is named. Parry Sound is located south of Sudbury and north of Toronto. The Co-operative Commonwealth Federation (Ontario Section) – The Farmer-Labor Party of Ontario, or more commonly known as the Ontario CCF, was a democratic socialist provincial political party in Ontario that existed from 1932 to 1961.
