Ellen Maggs
Ellen Louise Maggs (born 16 February 1983) is an English former international footballer. As well as the England women's national football team, Maggs played FA Women's Premier League football for clubs including Birmingham City, Watford and Arsenal. Often described as diminutive, Maggs operated as a quick, skilful and creative forward. Club career Maggs joined Arsenal Ladies as a nine-year-old, after being spotted at an after school football course. On seeing Maggs for the first time, Arsenal manager Vic Akers informed her father that she would one day play for England. Having grown up in nearby Islington, Maggs was already an Arsenal supporter. Aged 17, she came on as a substitute in Arsenal's 4–1 FA Women's Premier League Cup final win over Croydon in April 2000. Marcus Bignot
Marcus Bignot (born 22 August 1974) is an English football manager and former professional player. He is currently assistant coach of the England U19s and first-team coach at Cheltenhham Town. Bignot's playing career spanned nearly 20 years, primarily as a right back, but he has also been used in a midfield role. He began his career at Telford United in 1992 where he spent four years in the Football Conference there. He then joined Kidderminster Harriers, he was part of the team that won the Conference League Cup, also in the 1996–97 season the "Harriers" came runners-up in the Football Conference. Russia Women's National Football Team
The Russia women's national football team represents Russia in international women's football. The team is controlled by the Russian Football Union and affiliated with UEFA. Yuri Krasnozhan replaced Elena Fomina as coach of the team in December 2020. Russia qualified for two World Cups, 1999, 2003 and five European Championships, 1997, 2001, 2009, 2013 and 2017. The Canada women's national soccer team (french: Équipe du Canada féminine de soccer) represents Canada in international soccer competitions. They are overseen by the Canadian Soccer Association, the governing body for soccer in Canada. Kirsty Pealling
Kirsty Pealling (born 14 April 1975) is a former footballer who spent her entire club career with Arsenal Ladies. She also represented England at full international level. Club career Pealling attended Haggerston School and was spotted by Arsenal Ladies manager Vic Akers during a five-a-side tournament when she was 13. At the time of her retirement in 2006, Pealling was the club's longest serving player, the record appearance holder and had won the most trophies. She won domestic trebles with Arsenal in 1993 and 2001. Pealling worked as a sports development officer for Camden Council and since 2004 has coached at Hampstead FC. The 2002 FIFA U-19 Women's World Championship was held from 17 August to 1 September. It was the first sanctioned youth tournament for women put together by FIFA. The tournament was hosted by Canada. Helen Jane Ward (née Lander; born 26 April 1986) is an international Association football, football Forward (association football), striker who is currently playing club football for Watford F.C. Sian Williams (born 2 February 1968) is an English former footballer and ex–manager of Watford Ladies. As a player she represented both England and Wales, and later managed Wales. Club career Williams played at club level for Millwall Lionesses and spent two years in Italy with Juve Siderno.
