Elimination (Jughead's Revenge Album)
''Elimination'' is Jughead's Revenge's third studio album, released in 1994. It was the first of the band's catalog to be licensed to and distributed by BYO Records. Although ''Elimination'' was not commercially successful, Jughead's Revenge gained critical recognition for the album and supported Face to Face on their first Canadian tour. ''Elimination'' marked the first Jughead's Revenge album to be recorded as a four-piece; second guitarist George Snow had left the band in 1993 to play in the Bad Samaritans full-time. It was also their last album to feature drummer Nenus Givargus, who left for family related business. Jughead's Revenge
Jughead's Revenge is an American punk rock band. They originally formed in Los Angeles, California, United States, in 1989. To date, Jughead's Revenge has released six studio albums (the most recent being 1999's ''Pearly Gates''). After 12 years of recording and touring extensively, Jughead's Revenge disbanded in 2001 due to a lawsuit with Archie Comics who owned the rights to fictional character Jughead Jones. The band reformed in 2009 and has continued to perform at a number of live shows since 2010, and as of 2018 were working on a new album. Bass Guitar
The bass guitar, electric bass or simply bass (), is the lowest-pitched member of the string family. It is a plucked string instrument similar in appearance and construction to an electric or an acoustic guitar, but with a longer neck and scale length, and typically four to six strings or courses. Electric Guitar
An electric guitar is a guitar that requires external amplification in order to be heard at typical performance volumes, unlike a standard acoustic guitar (however combinations of the two - a semi-acoustic guitar and an electric acoustic guitar exist). Joe Doherty (born October 1, 1970) is the American lead for Jughead's Revenge, a punk rock band from Los Angeles, California, United States. He was involved in that band until first breakup in 2001, and is part of their 2009 reunion. Biography Jughead's Revenge After Doherty met guitarist Joe Rimicci and bassist Brian Preiss at a COA band practice, he started Jughead's Revenge in 1989, when he was only 18 and a half years old. Cited as one of the seminal California punk groups, Jughead's Revenge released six full-length albums and was active until 2001, when they were forced to split up after a lawsuit from Archie Comics, which led the band to change their name to Jugg's Revenge. Face to Face is a punk rock band from Victorville, California, formed in 1991 by frontman Trever Keith, bassist Matt Riddle and drummer Rob Kurth.
