Amanda Camm
Amanda Jane Camm (born 18 April 1979) is a member of the Parliament of Queensland representing the Liberal Nationals. She first stood for the seat of Whitsunday as a member of Katter's Australian Party in the 2012 Queensland State election. Camm was elected deputy mayor of the Mackay Regional Council in April 2016. She was a candidate for the Australian Senate in May 2019 but, being placed fifth on the LNP ticket, was not elected. At the 2020 Queensland state election Camm defeated Jason Costigan in the seat of Whitsunday. Ronald Ernest Camm (22 July 1914 – 15 March 1988) was a member of the Queensland Legislative Assembly. Biography Camm was born in Emerald, Queensland, Emerald, Queensland, the son of Jonathan Robert Camm and his wife Tassie (née Johnson). He was educated in Rockhampton and Mackay, Queensland, Mackay and began his working life for OE Neale in Mackay. After a time working as a labourer in Bloomsbury he became a canefarmer at Mount Julia. The Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) is the national broadcaster of Australia. It is principally funded by direct grants from the Australian Government and is administered by a government-appointed board. Jason Costigan
Jason Noel Costigan (born 13 June 1971) is a Radio Commentator and former Australian politician who was a Member of Parliament in the Queensland Legislative Assembly and leader of the North Queensland First party. Costigan was previously an independent politician and rugby league commentator. He was a member of the Liberal National Party (LNP) until being expelled from the party in February 2019. He had been a member of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland for Whitsunday until 2020, first being elected in 2012 after defeating Jan Jarratt at that year's state election. Broadcasting career Costigan's broadcasting career began in northern Queensland in the late 1980s and began calling rugby league in 1987 for regional television in Queensland. The City Country Alliance (CCA, initially One Nation Queensland) was a short-lived Australian political party, operating exclusively in Queensland, that briefly held six Queensland state parliamentary seats. It was founded in the wake of Pauline Hanson's One Nation experiencing severe ructions in Queensland, the home state of founder Pauline Hanson. One Nation had made a surprisingly good showing at the 1998 state election, winning 11 seats in the Legislative Assembly of Queensland. However, in 1999, five MLAs seceded to sit as independents, in protest at the centralisation of party affairs in Sydney, costing One Nation official status in the legislature. Pauline Hanson's One Nation (PHON or ONP), also known as One Nation or One Nation Party, is a right-wing populist political party in Australia. It is led by Pauline Hanson. Alfred Harold "Harry" Black (born 6 April 1947) is a former Australian politician. Born in Brisbane, he was a small business operator before entering politics.
