	El Poeta ''El poeta'' is a Spanish opera composed by Federico Moreno Torroba. It premiered at the Teatro de la Zarzuela in Madrid, Spain on 19 June 1980, starring Plácido Domingo, Ángeles Gulín, and Carmen Bustamante. The idea of a new opera had originally been suggested to Moreno Torroba by Domingo. ''El poeta'' would be the 89-year-old composer's last major work for the stage. Background Federico Moreno Torroba was one of the most prolific composers of Spanish zarzuelas and modern classical guitar music, but had only worked on operas early in his career. In 1946, he formed a traveling zarzuela company with baritone Plácido Domingo Ferrer and his wife Pepita Embil. Decades later, he was contacted by their son about a possible operatic collaboration. 	Vicente Amigo Vicente Amigo Girol (born 25 March 1967) is a Spanish flamenco composer and guitarist, born in Guadalcanal near Seville. He has played as an accompanying guitarist on recordings by flamenco singers Camarón de la Isla, and Luis de Córdoba, and he has acted as a producer for Remedios Amaya and José Mercé. His album ''Ciudad de las Ideas'' won the 2001 Latin Grammy for the Best Flamenco Album and the 2002 Ondas award for the best Flamenco work. It is the duo's fourth single and has a music video in their YouTube VEVO page. An AT&T re-make was made for the commercial featuring Chino & Nacho. Music video The music video was directed by Gustavo A. Garzon. In the beginning it shows Nacho as a writer struggling on what to write. First he starts with a Black and White toned video in Ciudad de Mexico in the year 1943. Nacho has Chino as his protagonist with a female other. He types that their love, though pure, can not be. It then shows the father of the woman disapprove of the two's relationship. 	Giuseppe Poeta Giuseppe "Peppe" Poeta (born September 12, 1985) is an Italian former professional basketball player. He played the point guard position. Professional career Poeta joined local club Pallacanestro Salerno in the lower divisions, playing 5 seasons before joining Prima Veroli of the third division. With Veroli he scored 51 points in a 7 November 2005 114-105 victory against Forlì. He moved to first division Serie A club Teramo Basket in 2006. During the 2008-09 season he led the team, coached by former Salerno coach Andrea Capobianco , to the league play-offs. He then joined Virtus Bologna where he had two successful seasons, reaching the play-offs twice and being appointed captain.
