Ekana International Football Stadium is a dedicated football stadium in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. It is the city's main stadium for football matches. The stadium is built as per FIFA and AIFF standards. It has seating capacity of 20,000 also equipped with Floodlights for night matches. History The ground was host to state and national level events. This facility hosts a range of cultural and entertainment events. Training sessions are held on a daily basis. On 21 November, Inter Kashi played their first I-League home match against Mohammedan SC in the Ekana Football Stadium in Lucknow. Inter Kashi is an Indian professional football club based in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. The club currently competes in the I-League, the second tier league of the Indian football league system. I-League
The I-League (known as Hero I-League for sponsorship ties with Hero MotoCorp) is the second-tier men's professional football competition of the Indian football league system. It is currently contested by 12 clubs across the country with the winners getting promotion to play in the premier division, the Indian Super League.
