''Eight Thousand Li of Cloud and Moon'' is a Taiwanese television series based on the life of Yue Fei, a Song dynasty general widely regarded as a patriot and national hero in Chinese culture for his role in the Jurchen campaigns against the Song dynasty. The Chinese title of the series comes from a line in '' Man Jiang Hong'', a patriotic poem commonly attributed to Yue Fei. The series was first aired on CTS in Taiwan from 21 November 1988 to 13 January 1989. Kenny Ho
Kenny Ho Kar-king (born 29 December 1959) is a Hong Kong actor and Cantopop/Mandopop singer. He was best known for his role as Zhan Zhao in the Taiwanese and Mainland Chinese television series '' Justice Bao'' from 1993 to 2012, and is also known for his roles in Master Ma and Super Hero. Ho is currently a businessman. Early life Ho was born in British Hong Kong on 29 December 1959. He had an elder brother and sister. Ho's parents had since divorced. Ho wanted to be a football player at the university but he failed to qualify for the role. He also studied acting at Beijing University before joining the Shaw Brothers. The Patriot Yue Fei
Patriot Yue Fei is a 2013 Chinese television series based on the life of Yue Fei, a Song dynasty general widely regarded as a patriot and national hero in Chinese culture for his role in defending the Song empire against the Jurchen campaigns. While the plot is based on historical sources, it also includes elements of fiction and draws ideas from the novel ''General Yue Fei'' () and other folktales on the general's life. Huang Xiaoming stars as the title character in the biopic, which started shooting in 2011. The budget of the series exceeded ¥200 million (roughly US $30 million). Jin Wuzhu (金兀朮, died 1148), also known by his sinicised name Wanyan Zongbi (完顏宗弼), was a prince, military general and civil minister of the Jurchen-led Jin dynasty of China. He was the fourth son of Aguda (Emperor Taizu), the founder and first emperor of the Jin dynasty.
