Egon Müller (wine Maker)
Egon Müller (born 26 November 1948 in Kiel, Germany) is a former international motorcycle speedway rider and was winner of the Speedway World Championship in 1983, winning the title in his homeland with a maximum score of 15 points. He earned 44 international caps for the West German national speedway team. Career Motorcycle speedway Egon Müller won the German Champion seven times (1975, 1977, 1979, 1981, 1983, 1984 and 1985). He rode briefly in the United Kingdom in 1973 for the Coatbridge Tigers (Scotland), and in 1976 for the Hull Vikings. Despite him only appearing for a handful of meetings in 1976, Hull were granted a 'Egon Muller (Rider Replacement)' facility for the entire 1977 season. Müller won the Long Track World Championship in 1974, 1975 and 1978. He finished second in 1980 and 1984, and finished third in 1976 and 1982. Kiel

The 1977 Speedway World Pairs Championship was the eighth Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme, FIM Speedway World Pairs Championship. The final took place in Manchester, England and was sponsored by Kawasaki Motorcycles, Kawasaki. The championship was won by host England national speedway team, England (28 points) who beat Sweden national speedway team, Sweden and West Germany national speedway team, West Germany (both 18 points). Norden, Lower Saxony
Norden (East Frisian Low Saxon: ''Nörden'') is a town in the district of Aurich, in Lower Saxony, Germany. It is situated near the North Sea shore, in East Frisia. 2015 Speedway Grand Prix
The 2015 Speedway Grand Prix season was the 70th edition of the official World Championship and the 21st season of the Speedway Grand Prix era, deciding the FIM Speedway World Championship. It was the fifteenth series under the promotion of Benfield Sports International, an IMG company. Greg Hancock was the defending champion from 2014. Tai Woffinden won the world title, with Hancock second and Nicki Pedersen third. It was Woffinden's second title having also won in 2013. Qualification For the 2015 season there were 15 permanent riders, joined at each Grand Prix by one wild card and two track reserves. White City Stadium
White City Stadium was a stadium located in White City, London, England. Built for the 1908 Summer Olympics, it hosted the finish of the first modern marathon and other sports like swimming, speedway, boxing, show jumping, athletics, stock car racing, concerts and a match at the 1966 World Cup. From 1927, it was a venue for greyhound racing, hosting the English Greyhound Derby until its closure in 1984. The stadium was demolished in 1985 and the site is now occupied by White City Place. The 1981 Speedway World Team Cup was the 22nd edition of the FIM Speedway World Team Cup to determine the team world champions. Speedway World Team Cup
The Speedway World Team Cup was an annual speedway event held each year in different countries. The competition started in 1960 and was replaced with the Speedway World Cup in 2001. Format From 1960 until 1985 each team consisted of four riders and a reserve. A final meeting was held after qualifying rounds, the winner being decided on total points scored in that final meeting. In 1986, the teams that qualified for the 'final' raced three meetings, the winner of each meeting being awarded three points, second place awarded two points, and third place awarded a point. The total points gained over the three meetings determined the champion. In 1987, the three meeting system was used again, but this time the aggregate points scored by the individual riders were added together to determine the champion. 1988 saw the championship revert to the original format. Hans Wassermann
Hans Wassermann (born 1 September 1953) is a former international speedway rider from West Germany. Speedway career Wassermann won a bronze medal at the Speedway World Pairs Championship in the 1977 Speedway World Pairs Championship. He has also reached the final of the Individual Speedway Long Track World Championship on three occasions in 1975, 1976 and 1977. He rode in the top tier of British Speedway from 1977 to 1978, riding for Reading Racers.
